摘要: A micro-lens built-in vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) . The micro-lens built-in VSEL includes a VCSEL portion emitting a laser beam in a direction in which semiconductor material layers are stacked; a micro-lens formed of a material capable of transmitting the laser beam emitted from the VCSEL portion; and an adjusting portion located between the VCSEL portion and the micro-lens adjusting a distance between the micro-lens and the VCSEL portion. When constructing an optical system with the VCSEL including the VCSEL portion, the adjusting portion, and the micro-lens, there is no need for a separate condensing lens and focusing position adjusting element. In addition, optical alignment structure is simple with increased freedom in arranging elements, and the number of parts required is sharply reduced.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for characterizing a head in a hard drive assembly, in which the head has a write element. The method comprises providing a disk attached to a hard disk drive assembly, the disk having a plurality of tracks each having a track centerline. One of the tracks has a plurality of sectors. One of the sectors has a servo field with an A burst, a B burst and a C burst, where the A burst and the C bursts have a common boundary located at a track centerline and where the B burst has a center that is positioned along the track centerline. Each sector also has a data field. The read element is aligned with the B servo burst, and data is written in a data field of a first sector of one of the tracks. An A burst and a C burst located in a following sector of one of the tracks is read to provide an A burst amplitude value and a C burst amplitude value. A characteristic of the read element based on the A burst amplitude value and the C burst amplitude value is then determined.

摘要: A manufacturing method for color filter comprises steps of forming a flat layer for smoothing over an image sensor having charge coupled devices or bucket brigade device, forming a first color filter layer and a first inter-layer of dye-proof layer on said flat layer, alternately forming color filter layers and inter-layers in the same manner as above describe steps in order to form a second color filter layer, a second inter-layer, a third color filter layer and a third inter-layer, wherein the first or the third inter-layer is formed of a negative polyimide having a relatively lower thermal shrinkage. In this method, the material for forming the inter-layer which has been the problem in thermal hardening due to the relatively higher thermal shrinkage is substituted with the negative polyimide having a relatively lower thermal shrinkage, so that the stress acted on the interface between the color filter layer and the inter-layer can be minimized, so that image sensor having a superior spectrum characteristic and sensitivity can be obtained.

摘要: A movable security camera apparatus for providing visual security with minimal human effort, error and equipment expense, includes a MICOM, a path input section, a sensing section, a sensor detecting section, a camera video tape recording section, and a main driving section. The MICOM controls the whole system, including the motion of a watch camera on the basis of control programs in accordance with inputted path information. The sensing section provides the data for the moving direction of the camera, the data being obtained when sensors of a rail are controlled by the path commands of the MICOM.

摘要: A supplementary fin for attachment to the blades of dispersion fans in microwave ovens is disclosed. Supplementary fins 7 and 7a are removably attached to the underside of respective blades 2 and 2a of standard dispersing fan 1. To maintain balance of the fan assembly, supplementary fins 7b and 7c are attached to the top side of respective dispersing fan blades 2b and 2c. The removable attachment capability of the supplementary fins is accomplished by sliding of tongue 5 through a rectangular hole 4 so as to align a fixing hole 6 with a circular hole 3. An expandable clip 9 is inserted through holes 3 and 6 and is expanded by insertion of a pin 8 so as to removably attach the supplementary fin 7 to dispersing fan blade 2. This removable attachment capability allows optimum dispersion characteristics to be achieved for a variety of dispersing fans, fan motors, and oven air venting configurations, by simple replacement of supplementary fins with supplementary fins of different design.
