Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station via a system information block (SIB), a random access configuration associated with aerial UEs, wherein the random access configuration indicates one or more aerial UE specific parameters. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a random access message during a random access procedure based at least in part on the one or more aerial UE specific parameters indicated in the random access configuration associated with aerial UEs. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that the UE is in communication with a primary cell and a secondary cell in a carrier aggregation configuration, where the primary cell is a cross-carrier scheduled cell and the secondary cell is a cross-carrier scheduling cell. The UE may receive downlink control information from the secondary cell. The downlink control information may include a cross-carrier scheduling indication that a data transmission is scheduled with the primary cell. The UE may monitor a common search space of the primary cell for control information that pertains to communications with the primary cell. The UE may communicate with the primary cell via the data transmission in accordance with at least one of the downlink control information from the secondary cell and the control information from the common search space of the primary cell.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for blind decode and control channel element counting on a secondary cell. An example method may include receiving, from a network entity, signaling configuring the UE with a search space (SS) set on a primary cell (PCell) and a common search space (CSS) set on at least a first secondary cell (SCell). The method may also include monitoring at least one of the first SCell, the PCell, or a second SCell based on a count associated with a set of candidates for the CSS set on the first SCell against a number of PDCCH candidates or a number of CCEs, the set of candidates being at least one of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates or control channel elements (CCEs).

Abstract: A base station may configure a first threshold indicating maximum numbers of blind decodes (BDs) and non-overlapping control channel elements (CCEs) for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates on a primary cell (PCell)/primary secondary cell (PSCell), and transmit, for a user equipment (UE), a configuration for PDCCH candidates in common search spaces (CSSs) or user-specific search spaces (USSs) on the PCell/PSCell and USSs on a secondary cell (SCell) for PDCCH scheduling data for the PCell/PSCell. The base station may transmit at least one PDCCH in PDCCH candidates. The UE may receive the configuration and receive the PDCCH by blindly decoding the PDCCH candidates in in at least one of the CSSs or the USSs configured on the PCell/PSCell and the USSs configured on the Scell. The USSs configured on the PCell/PSCell may support PDCCH overbooking.

Abstract: Mechanisms for cross-carrier scheduling from a first cell to a second cell in a wireless networking scheme are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a first configuration for scheduling in a first cell having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), wherein the first configuration is associated with a first search space in the first cell. The method further includes receiving, from the BS, a second configuration for scheduling in the first cell, wherein the second configuration is associated with a second search space in a second cell, and wherein the second cell is associated with a different second SCS. The method further includes determining a number of blind detections (BDs) based on at least one of the first SCS or the second SCS, and monitoring, based on the number of BDs, for downlink control information (DCI) in the first and second search spaces.

Abstract: A base station may transmit a multicast transmission to a group of user equipments (UEs) that are each configured with a group radio network temporary identifier (G-RNTI). The UEs may be configured to receive the transmission using the same modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and transport block size (TBS) such that the group of UEs may receive the same transmission. In particular, a UE may receive one or more configurations for multicast transmissions, each configuration associated with a G-RNTI. The UE may determine a MCS table for the G-RNTI. The UE may determine a TBS for a multicast transmission based on an overhead value for the G-RNTI. The UE may receive the multicast transmission based on the MCS table and the TBS.
