Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A downlink shared channel scheduling delay and an acknowledgment feedback delay may be jointly encoded and sent to a user equipment (UE). For example, a downlink control information (DCI) field may jointly indicate the downlink shared channel scheduling delay and the acknowledgment feedback delay in a field of ‘X’ bits, where ‘X’ is configurable by a base station (e.g., via radio resource control (RRC) signaling). Subsequently, the UE may then determine the downlink shared channel scheduling delay and the acknowledgment feedback delay from the DCI by using respective equations based on a value from the jointly encoded indication or by using a table based on the value from the jointly encoded indication. Additionally, the downlink shared channel scheduling delay and the acknowledgment feedback delay may be expressed in terms of absolute subframes, invalid/valid subframes, or both.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, and computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing cross-carrier scheduling. In one aspect, a processor of a wireless device may determine whether downlink control information (DCI) received from a secondary cell schedules communications on a primary cell, and may determine cross-carrier scheduling of communications on the primary cell in response to determining that the DCI received from the secondary cell schedules communications on the primary cell. In another aspect, processor of a network device may schedule communications on the primary cell in the DCI of the secondary cell, and may perform cross-carrier scheduling of communications on the primary cell based on the DCI of the secondary cell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may activate or release one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations for group-common downlink shared channels based on signaling from a base station. For example, the UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) from the base station that includes a feedback process field, where a value of the feedback process field indicates at least one of one or more SPS configurations is to be activated. In some examples, the base station may transmit the DCI in a group-common downlink control channel or in a UE-specific downlink control channel. Additionally, the base station may transmit a deactivation message to the UE to indicate for the UE to release one or more activated SPS configurations, where the deactivation message is transmitted in a group-common downlink control channel or a UE-specific downlink control channel.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, a base station, a user equipment (UE), and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The base station may encode a wakeup signal so that a preamble of the wakeup signal indicates whether the wakeup signal is relevant to the UE. The UE may select a technique for detecting the wakeup signal based at least in part on a partial, full, or no synchronization. In some aspects, the wakeup signal may be encoded with a system frame number. In some aspects, wakeup signals for guardband/standalone UEs are provided. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a source base station (BS), an indication that the UE is to perform a conditional handover from the source BS to a target BS and is to perform at least one of: a two protocol stack handover from the source BS to the target BS or a dual connectivity handover from the source BS to the target BS. The UE may perform the conditional handover and at least one of the two protocol stack handover or the dual connectivity handover based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are provided.
