Abstract:
A carburetor 1 with a starting fuel supply mechanism 6 which additionally supplies a starting fuel at the start of an engine includes a choke valve in suction passages 4 and 4 extending through a main body 2; and a starting fuel supply path disposed as a bypass of a main fuel passage to connect a float chamber 3a to the suction passages 4 and 4, the starting fuel supply path being provided with an opening/closing valve opened by interlocking with the closing operation of the choke valve, and a valve body 5 of the choke valve which performs the closing operation presses valve opening/closing means 61 while abutting on one end of the valve opening/closing means 61, to open the opening/closing valve of the starting fuel supply path, so that the starting fuel can be prepared to be supplied.
Abstract:
A bicycle hub includes a hub shaft, a hub shell, a bearing arrangement, an electricity generating mechanism and at least one lamp. The hub shaft is configured and arranged to be mounted in a non-rotatable manner to a bicycle frame. The hub shell has a hollow interior with the hub shaft being disposed in the hollow interior of the hub shell. The bearing arrangement is arranged between the hub shell and the hub shaft in such a manner that the hub shell can rotate freely with respect to the hub shaft. The electricity generating mechanism is arranged inside the hub shell and is configured to generate electricity in response to relative rotation of the hub shell with respect to the hub shaft. The lamp is arranged on at least one end of the hub shell and illuminated using electricity generated by the electricity generating mechanism.

The motor unit mounting portion and the motor unit housing include first and second fastener-less mating structures configured to resist rotational movement of the motor unit housing relative to the front derailleur mounting member due to a torque produced by the output shaft.
Abstract:
A motorized bicycle front derailleur assembly is provided that includes a motor unit, a front derailleur and a motor linkage. The motor unit is configured to rotate an output shaft in first and second opposite rotational directions. The front derailleur includes a fixing body configured to be mounted to a bicycle frame, inner and outer links pivotally coupled to the fixing body at first and second pivot points, and a chain guide pivotally coupled to the inner and outer links to move between an inner shift position and an outer shift position. The first pivot point is located laterally closer to a center plane of the bicycle frame than the second pivot point. The motor linkage is operatively coupled to the output shaft of the motor unit and the inner link to move the chain guide between the inner and outer shift positions upon rotation of the output shaft.
Abstract:
A bicycle battery holder assembly includes a terminal support portion and a pair of seal members. The terminal support portion has a pair of electrical terminals extending therefrom. The pair of electrical terminals are configured to extend into corresponding terminal receiving portions of a battery. The seal members extend around respective ones of the electrical terminals.
Abstract:
A bicycle shift control apparatus comprises a threshold value setting unit that sets a threshold value of a running condition for shifting a bicycle transmission, a decision unit that decides if a current running condition value passes the threshold value, and a tentative shift unit that sets a tentative shift of the bicycle transmission when the decision unit decides that the current running condition value passes the threshold value. A canceling unit cancels the tentative shift if the decision unit decides that the current running condition value varies from a previous running condition value by a determined value.
Abstract:
A bicycle operating component includes an electrical shift control switch. The electrical shift control switch includes a mounting portion and an operating member. The operating member is movably coupled to the mounting portion. The operating member is arranged to move relative to the mounting portion in an actuating direction from an original position. The electrical shift control switch is configured to operate a bicycle shift mechanism in a first direction when the operating member is moved from the original position in the actuating direction and also to operate the bicycle shift mechanism in a second direction when the operating member is moved from the original position in the actuating direction. Preferably, a controller is operatively coupled to the electrical shift control switch in order to actuate the bicycle shift mechanism depending on the stroke of the operating member or the amount of time moved in the actuating direction.
Abstract:
A resist pattern forming method which can prevent a fine resist pattern from collapsing in a drying step after a development treatment in case of forming a resist pattern is provided. This method comprises applying a positive resist composition comprising a resin component (A), which has an alkali-soluble unit content of less than 20 mol % and also has an acid dissociable dissolution inhibiting group, alkali solubility thereof being enhanced by action of acid, an acid generator component (B) which generates an acid under exposure, and an organic solvent (C) which dissolves the components (A) and (B) on a substrate; subjecting the resulting film to prebaking, selective exposure, post exposure baking and alkali development; performing a displacing step of displacing a liquid existing on the substrate with a displacing liquid at least one time; displacing the displacing liquid with a liquid for critical drying; and performing a drying step of drying the liquid for critical drying via a critical state.
Abstract:
A bicycle shift positioning device includes a base member adapted to be mounted to a bicycle; a first rotating body rotatably mounted relative to the base member; a second rotating body rotatably mounted relative to the first rotating body; a positioning member coupled to the base member and having a plurality of positioning elements; a pawl coupled for movement with the first rotating body, wherein the pawl moves between a positioning member engaging position and a positioning member disengaging position; a pawl control member coupled for movement with the second rotating body; and a pawl biasing mechanism for biasing the pawl toward the positioning member engaging position. The pawl control member allows the pawl to move toward the positioning member engaging position when the first rotating body is in a first rotational position relative to the second rotating body, and the pawl control member causes the pawl to be in the positioning member disengaging position when the first rotating body is in a second rotational position relative to the second rotating body.
Abstract:
A front derailleur basically comprises a base member, a chain guide, inner and outer links, a first arm portion, and a coil spring. The chain guide is freely swingably coupled to the base member to guide a chain in a direction of shifting gears. Each of the outer link and the inner link has first and second sections freely rotatably coupled to the base member and the chain guide, respectively. The outer link and the inner link are disposed substantially parallel to each other. The first arm portion extends in a direction away from the base member. The coil spring has first and second ends connected to the base member and a free end of the first arm portion such that a biasing force is applied on the chain guide in a direction toward a frame of the bicycle when the base member is installed on the frame.
