Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for creating a ring network label switched path. The method includes: receiving, by a first node, a first Path message used for creating a first label switched path from a second node; allocating a first label to the first label switched path; sending a first Resv message carrying the first label to the second node; and when the first node receives a second Path message and determines that a destination node of the second label switched path is the same as that of the first label switched path, allocating the first label to the second label switched path; and sending a second Resv message carrying the first label to the second node. Solutions of the embodiments of the present invention helps reduce the number of created ring network label switched paths and maintenance complexity.

The method and the apparatus for advertising border connection information of autonomous system of embodiments of the present invention may adapt to dynamic change of network topology, and dynamically advertise the border connection information of the autonomous system within the system in time, so as to optimize networks and improve quality of service of the networks.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for measuring performance of multi-service in a tunnel, including: receiving a measurement message corresponding to a service packet, where a priority of the measurement message is the same as that of the service packet, and the measurement message includes at least one of the three: a packet loss measurement parameter, a delay measurement parameter, and a variation measurement parameter; and measuring performance of a service in a tunnel according to a measurement parameter in the measurement message. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a problem that performance measurement cannot be performed for different services transmitted in a tunnel in the prior art may be solved.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a VPLS fast rerouting method and device. The method includes: generating, by a remote PE, a backup forwarding entry; and when a designated forwarder or a designated forwarder pseudo wire in a multihoming protection group fails, or the designated forwarder is switched in the multihoming protection group, forwarding, by the remote PE, a data packet according to the backup forwarding entry, thereby avoiding broadcasting the data packet to all remote PEs that belong to the same VPLS instance, and further reducing a waste of bandwidth resources in a backbone network and processing resources of the PE.
Abstract:
A troubleshooting method includes sending a forward detection message to at least one node on a path to be detected. The forward detection message carries information about a forward path to be detected and information about a backward path to be detected. Faults are detected according to a backward detection message returned by the at least one node.
Abstract:
A method, a network device, and a system for synchronization between network devices are provided. The method includes: establishing, by a first network device, an inband synchronization channel to a second network device in a MPLS-TP network, where the inband synchronization channel is a channel on a data plane, and the first network device and the second network device are included in a same backup group; sending, a first synchronization packet to the second network device through the inband synchronization channel, where the first synchronization packet carries synchronization information of the first network device, and the synchronization information of the first network device includes configuration information or status information of the first network device. The present disclosure can implement synchronization between network devices on an MPLS-TP network that does not have a control plane.

Abstract:
A network performance parameter sending method includes: obtaining, by a first network node, a segment identifier of a second network node in a segment list of a packet, where the second network node is a next-hop segment node of the first network node on a forwarding path of the packet; and adding, by the first network node, a network performance parameter of the first network node to the segment list, and then sending the packet to the second network node. In a process of forwarding the packet by using the segment list in the packet, the first network node uses the segment list to carry the network performance parameter of the network node.
Abstract:
A system and network devices for packet processing, a network device including a processor and instructions for receiving a first packet sent by a second network node, the first packet including a format of a segment identifier of the second network node describing a length and a location of each field in the segment identifier, obtaining the format based on the first packet, the segment identifier having a first field, and including a determined value of the first field in the segment identifier in a second packet sent to the second network node, the value of the first field in the segment identifier being determined based on a segment routing policy and the format, and the determined value of the first field indicating to the second network node to process the second packet.
