摘要： A low-cost shield connector 1 connecting smoothly with a mating connector includes a connector housing 20, a terminal 21, an inner housing 22, a spacer 23 and a lance 42. The connector housing 20 is formed into tubular shape. The terminal 21 is joined to a shield wire 29. The inner housing 22 receiving the terminal 21 is received in the connector housing 20. The spacer 23 to be mounted in the inner housing 22 prevents the terminal 21 from coming off from the inner housing 22. The lance 42 formed integrally with the inner housing 22 is locked in the connector housing 20.

摘要： The semiconductor laser device of the invention includes: an n-type semiconductor and a semiconductor multi-layer structure formed on the n-type semiconductor. The semiconductor multi-layer structure includes: an active layer; an n-type first cladding layer and a p-type second cladding layer which are disposed so as to sandwich the active layer therebetween; an n-type current/light confinement layer having a stripe-shaped groove portion for injecting a current into a selected region of the active layer; and a p-type third cladding layer formed so as to bury the stripe-shaped groove portion of the n-type current/light confinement layer. In the semiconductor laser device, the current/light confinement layer contains Si as a dopant and the n-type first cladding layer contains substantially no Si as a dopant.

摘要： An optical information reproduction apparatus includes a semiconductor laser device as a light source which provides oscillation as periodic pulse waves upon application of a DC current. The semiconductor laser device is disposed so that an optical distance L from a light-emitting point of the semiconductor laser device to a recording surface of an optical recording medium satisfies the following relationship: TP TP+(2L/C), where T is a period of pulse waves which are output from the semiconductor laser device in absence of a returning light from the optical recording medium; TP is a pulse width of the respective pulse waves which is defined as a width of a portion of the respective pulse waves, the portion having intensities which correspond to 10% or more of the peak intensity of the respective pulse waves; and C is a speed of light through air.

摘要： A fixing apparatus has two backup rollers which rotate while remaining in contact with the circumference of a pressing roller, and a plurality of roller bearings for pressing the pressing roller against a heating roller via the backup rollers. The roller bearings are set so as to forcefully press the portion in the vicinity of the center of the pressing roller compared to the portions around both ends of the pressing roller, via the backup roller. As a result, a pressing force acting between the pressing roller and the heating roller becomes substantially even in the axial direction of them, thereby resulting in an even nipping width. Further, the fixing apparatus may be provided with a cylindrical rotary pressing member and a substantially cylindrical pressed-contact member which is disposed in the rotary pressing member and presses it against the heating roller. The pressed-contact member may be formed so as to have a larger diameter at the center than at both ends thereof.

摘要： An electromagnetically shielded connector where a shielding metal shell is molded together with an insulating housing in which terminals are housed. The metal shell is formed with a resilient contact integrally continuous therewith. The insulating housing is formed with two opposing guide grooves on an exterior thereof between which the resilient contact projects outwardly of the insulating housing. The opposing guide grooves receive a fastening bracket electrically connected to ground, thereby the insulating housing being fixed and the shielding metal shell being connected to ground via said resilient contact and said fastening bracket.
