    摘要: A modular foundation design for supporting a wind turbine or telecommunication tower, comprised of pre-cast concrete modules offering advantages of off-site manufacture and ease of transportation, but which deign is simple to construct. A base slab is provided comprised of sub-modules/base members arranged together in juxtaposed position which together provide a horizontal surface on which pre-cast pipe members may be stacked in end-to-end position to form a pedestal. Anchor rods extend through the pipe members into screw retainers in the base members, which rods serve to not only post-tension the pipe members and secure them together, but further advantageously serve to retain the base members together thereby assisting in distributing forces and loads applied to one sub-module/base member over the entire base slab. Coupling means to further couple the base members together may be added to better retain the base members together and still further improve distribution of forces.

    摘要: A method of forming a post sleeve within a post hole in the ground to include a post receiving cavity to insertably receive and support a post is provided. The method includes positioning a post sleeve core within the post hole with the aid of an elongate installation member and depositing uncured material into the post hole to at least partially surround the post sleeve core while the post sleeve core is attached to the elongate installation member. The method further includes allowing the uncured material to harden around the post sleeve core to form at least a portion of the post-receiving cavity of the post sleeve and removing the post sleeve core from the hardened material to expose the post receiving cavity to receive and support the post. Other related methods of forming post sleeves are also provided.

    摘要: A ground anchor with an upper helical member attached to or near the upper end of an elongated rod and at least lower helical member attached to the elongated rod below the upper helical member. The upper helical member includes a fixed, spiral-shaped, curved flange. Near or on the outer edge of the curved flange is a continuous or intermittent vertical wall. The lower helical member includes a curved flange similar to the curved flange used on upper helical member. The upper neck of the elongated rod engages a torque generating tool that rotates the anchor into the subsea floor until the helical members are embedded in the subsea floor. A swivel arm attaches to the neck that connects to a line that extends downward to a floating buoy or dock. A piling may be longitudinally aligned over the neck and threaded connectors securely attach the piling to the anchor.

The end of the post portion distal to the platform portion is in a laterally and vertically spaced-apart relation to the platform portion. When the platform portion is buried adjacent to a stack wall with the post portion between the platform portion and the stack wall and with a fence or handrail post attached to the end of the post portion, a lateral load applied to the fence or handrail post is supported by the platform portion without damage to the stack wall.

    摘要: A method of forming a wind turbine foundation includes providing an anchor cage in an excavation pit, the anchor cage including an upper flange, a lower flange, and a plurality of anchor bolts extending therebetween. A first cementitious material is directed into the excavation pit so that the anchor cage becomes at least partially embedded in the material, which is allowed to cure to form a rigid body. A connecting element is selectively engaged with the upper flange and an actuating element is positioned in operative relation with the connecting element, the connecting and actuating elements positioned in non-contact relation with the anchor bolts. The actuating element is actuated relative to the connecting element to raise the upper flange from the rigid body into a leveled position. A second cementitious material is directed into a space beneath the raised upper flange and is allowed to cure to form a support layer.
