Abstract: Disclosed is a roll spinning forming device for a toothed part. The device is mounted on a machine tool body. A blank, a mandrel and a driving synchromesh gear are mounted on a machine tool spindle. A driven synchromesh gear and a roller are arranged in parallel on the spindle. The driven synchromesh gear and the roller are connected by a telescopic constant speed universal joint and rotate at a same angular speed. The driven synchromesh gear is driven by a spring mechanism in the radial direction, and the roller is driven by a servo motor assembly in the radial direction. Further disclosed is a roll spinning forming method for a toothed part, the rotating speed of the blank is maintained to be matched with the rotating speed of the roller according to a gear ratio during the movement of the roller toward the blank.

Abstract: A tool unit for a cold forming machine. The tool unit has a tool slide, which is linearly movable in a longitudinal direction. A carrier for a cold forming rack of the tool unit is provided on the tool slide. By means of an adjustment device, the carrier can be positioned in a working direction. For this purpose carrier can be preferably linearly moved in working direction. In working direction the cold forming rack is supported on the carrier and is clamped by means of a clamping device against the carrier. For this purpose the clamping device has at least one clamping body, which can be moved opposed to a clamping force (F) in working direction and abuts against the cold forming rack. The clamping device is preferably not directly connected with the carrier. The clamping force is particularly supported indirectly or directly on the tool slide by passing carrier.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing at least one gear, in particular a helically toothed gear, wherein the gear is produced from a gear blank pressed and sintered with an oversize in the region of the set of teeth, wherein the gear blank has two opposite end faces and a circumference. In the method, the gear blank is clamped in a clamping means. The gear blank is compressed in the region of the oversize by means of the engagement of at least one circumferential tool having a set of mating teeth that engages with the set of teeth of the gear blank, wherein the gear blank is radially clamped over the circumference by the clamping means at both end faces during the compression of the gear blank, wherein each individual tooth of the set of teeth of the gear blank is supported by the clamping means substantially over the entire tooth height. In this way, the quality of the set of teeth can be improved. The invention further relates to a device and to a clamping means.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method of machining a workpiece, wherein an end-facing tooth edge of a gear profile of the workpiece that was generated by a chip-removing machining process is reworked at a first location into a chamfered edge by way of a plastic forming operation. The material which in the plastic forming operation was displaced towards the end surface of the gear profile is pushed outward as a material protrusion in the end surface of the tooth, while the material displaced towards the flank of the tooth is pushed outward as a material protrusion on the flank side of the chamfer, and the resulting material protrusions in the end surface and on the flank side are removed. The workpiece, while still carrying the material protrusion on the end surface of the gear profile, is transferred to a second location where the protrusion on the flank side of the chamfer is removed.
