The rack also has a plurality of generally rectangular shelving elements which are generally horizontally disposed and which are connected to the end frames. In the upright positions, the shelving elements are disposed generally perpendicularly to the end frames, while in the folded, inoperable position, the shelving elements and end frames are disposed in a generally non-perpendicular relationship. In one embodiment, the shelving elements are detachably connected to the second end frame, and are pivotably, but non-detachably, connected to the first end frame. A number of alternative joints, including T-shaped and L-shaped joints, are suggested for the pivotal connection between the sheliving elements and the first end frame. Likewise, a number of alternative embodiments for the detachable connection between the shelving units and second end frame are also provided.

The goods stand is rotatable relative to the cart underframe and the oven cart is provided with a coupling member (7), which cooperates with a rotatable driving device (8) in the oven. The goods stand is supported on the cart underframe by a vertical axle (13) rotatably mounted therein and an attachment (12) arranged at the end of the axle. A slot (16) which is open towards the oven door is arranged in the floor (14) of the oven chamber for receiving the axle (13). During the rotation of the goods stand in the oven chamber ( 5) the cart underframe is stationary in the cart chamber (15) and is thereby not exposed to the strong heat in the oven chamber.

The frame and the door of the oven chamber are vertically displaceable and mechanically connected with each other such that the opening of the door causes the frame to be lowered to place the rack on the floor and the door to be lifted, the lifting being aided by the weight of the rack, while closing of the door causes the door to be lowered and the frame to be lifted to lift the rack from the floor, this lifting being aided by the weight of the door. Swingable wings of the frame are aided by the weight of the rack to ensure a firm holding of the suspended rack in a centered position.
