摘要： In a slurry pump of liquid-diaphragm type having a diaphragm chamber containing a portion of slurry being pumped and a lighter diaphragm liquid, gas bubbles existing in large concentration in the slurry are prevented from infiltrating into the diaphragm chamber by the injection of a seal liquid without bubbles into the slurry in the chamber to cause a flow of liquid counter to the direction of infiltration of the gas bubbles. For this purpose, a seal-liquid-injection pipe is installed in the slurry in the chamber and supplied by a pump with the seal liquid from a reservoir through a check valve.

摘要： A hydraulic control system for a power cylinder having a piston reciprocating therein and including the source of fluid under pressure, a reservoir, conduits connecting opposite ends of the cylinder to the source and the reservoir with a control valve in the conduits that has two positions for connecting the source to the respective ends of the cylinder. The control system incorporates a switch cooperating with the valve and actuated by an actuator rod located in one end of the cylinder. The actuator rod is slidable in an opening in the end of the cylinder and has an end disposed in the path of the piston. A chamber is defined between the actuating rod and the opening and is placed in communication with the interior of the cylinder. The actuator rod has a first surface in the chamber that is opposed to the end surface of the rod with the first surface having a greater area than the area of the end surface so that the actuator rod is automatically maintained in a first position by the pressure of fluid in the cylinder and is moved to a second position when the piston approaches the end of the cylinder to actuate the switch and reverse the position of the valve.

摘要： A pair of alternately reciprocal auger pumps fed by a common hopper and discharging concrete or the like into a common manifold. A clearance auger rotates considerably faster than the pump unit auger assemblies and clears the concrete from the manifold into the discharge conduit. Sections of the pump auger flights at the front ends thereof hinge to close off the ends when on the pumping stroke thus forming the auger flights into pistons.

摘要： A concrete pump having an elongated flexible hose for receiving the concrete, and having rollers which run along the hose to squeeze the hose and thereby pump the concrete through the hose. The hose is disposed in a straight condition, and the rollers are moved along by a chain, and a guide rail positions the rollers against the hose for the squeezing of the hose and the consequent pumping of the concrete through the hose. A gravity-feed hopper with a reciprocating piston fills the hose for charging it with the concrete. Spring-biased fingers assist the hose in regaining its tubular shape after it has been squeezed by the rollers.

A disc, rotatably driven in timed relationship with the driven rotation of the rotor about an axis transverse to said rotor axis, is provided with peripheral lobes sealingly in the rotor pockets for discharging material from the pockets in a direction transverse to said rotor axis as the material is rotated in the rotor pockets towards the disc. Material to be pumped is supplied to the rotor pockets on one side of the disc in a direction transverse to the rotor axis, whereupon the driven rotation of the rotor moves the material to the other side of the disc where it is discharged from the rotor pockets by the disc.

摘要： An hydraulically powered multiplex pump having at least three pumping units, each operable in a cycle including suction, precompression and discharge phases, with the cycles being out of phase with one another, whereby simultaneous performance of these functions results in a substantially constant pressure and flow of both the pumped fluid and the power fluid. Separate power and cycle control circuits, which may employ different fluids, are provided. Control valve assemblies, each including two sleeve valves communicating with a common chamber, are operated by the control circuit fluid to condition power circuit flow for the various phases of the pumping cycle. The power end of the pumping units includes power cylinders which may be fluid interconnected at their rod ends so that operations in each power cylinder affect functions in the other chambers, and provision is made for automatic correction of errors in stroke length.
