摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing a bead-shaped polylactide pellets and the bead-shaped polylactide pellets prepared from the method thereof, and primarily includes an die-face cutting step, a dewatering step and a crystallization step. In which bead-shaped polylactide pellets are produced from a polylactide melt undergoing the die-face cutting step, the dewatering step and the crystallization step. The die-face cutting step is carried out by immersing the polylactide melt in water at a temperature of 50° C.˜90° C.; the dewatering step is carried out in an atmosphere temperature of 80° C.˜150° C.; the crystallization step is carried out in an atmosphere temperature 80° C.˜150° C. The bead-shaped polylactide pellets obtained have a water content of 10˜400 ppm, and smooth surfaces with no concave. The producing method of the present invention is thus able to achieve the objective of saving mass energy consumption.

摘要: An apparatus and method for the pelletization of waxes, wax-like and other materials having a sharp melt point include a vessel for forming the wax into a hot molten material. A heat exchanger then cools the molten wax to a temperature just above its melt temperature. The cooled liquid wax is fed to an extruder which further reduces the temperature and mixes the liquid wax into a thoroughly mixed extrudable solid wax. The solid wax is then extruded through die orifices of a die plate into a cutting chamber, and a rotary cutter cooperating with the die face of the die plate cuts the extruded solid wax strands into pellets. The die plate, cutting chamber and rotary cutter can have the same structure as an underwater pelletizer, but operating without water or liquid as a dry face pelletizer. The thus formed wax pellets drop out of the cutting chamber by gravity through an opening in the bottom thereof.

摘要: A method and apparatus of production of tubes comprising, on an extruder, extruding molten plastics through die formations of a die head so as to extrude tubes each including at least one internal longitudinal web, and subsequently cooling the extruded tubes. In addition, when advancing molten plastics through a die hole (110) of the die head, the die head includes a die mandrel (122) having a first portion (124) attached to the die body and a second portion (126) extending in the die hole (110) so as to extrude the tube with at least one internal longitudinal web, the advancing including conveying molten plastics along a flow passageway (134) in the first portion (124) of the die mandrel (122) towards a central longitudinal region of the die hole at the second portion (126). The die body advantageously has a die mandrel locating device (118) arranged at the upstream side of the die body for locating the die mandrel (122) centrally of the die hole (110) of the die body. Cooling is performed by having a fluid delivering device (202) for directing cooling fluid directly on to a downstream surface of the die head to cool the extruded tubes exiting from the die formations, which are then chopped to the desired size.
