Abstract:
The present invention provides a driving force distributing apparatus which can instantaneously reduce clutch pressure to thereby carry out proper operation of an ABS even if the ABS is actuated in traveling in a 4WD mode. In order to reduce pressure in a piston chamber, a control circuit drives a motor for reverse rotation. As a result, a pressure difference between a piston chamber side pressure and a pump side pressure in a supply path becomes large, pressure oil on a piston chamber side in the supply path is instantaneously discharged to an outside from a releasing hole of a quick open valve, and the pressure in the piston chamber reduces instantaneously.

Abstract:
An overcurrent protection device for a load 24 having a housing 100 with fixed contacts 108, 110, movable contacts 118, 120 and terminals 102, 104 for electrical connection to the load. A first snap acting bimetallic 116 member in the device is responsive to heat from overcurrent conditions at a first snap temperature and a second snap acting bimetallic member 12 is responsive to heat at a second higher temperature in the event of failure in operation of the first bimetallic member. The first bimetallic member 116 controls the movement of the movable contacts 118, 120 to cause engagement and nonengagement with the stationary contacts 108, 110, and the second snap acting bimetallic member 12 controls electrical connection between the fixed contact 102 and terminal 108, and is not resetable upon breaking the electrical connection. Additionally, a heat conductive member 20 of high heat conductivity is provided that directly provides superior heat conductivity between the load 24 and the first bimetal member 116 so that the bimetal more accurately reflects the temperature of the load.
Abstract:
A presser foot and needle drive device in an embroidery machine includes a drive mechanism and a control device for vertically reciprocally moving a presser foot between upper and lower dead center. The control device operates the drive mechanism according to patterns of presser foot movements which are determined for specific sewing conditions.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic actuator is provided at the outer periphery of and out of contact with a casing of a transmission joint for transmitting torque between two shafts. The electromagnetic actuator produces an electromagnetic field within the joint main body when an exciting current is supplied to a solenoid coil of the actuator. A movable magnetic ring is provided in the casing so as to be movable in the axial direction. The ring is moved in the axial direction by receiving an electromagnetic force induced by the field produced by the electromagnetic actuator. A relief valve connected to the ring is moved over an orifice of a pump, and a spring biasing the relief valve is compressed due to such movement, thereby establishing a relief pressure. When a rotational difference, created by the tires of the vehicle, occurs between the shafts of the joint, and an oil pressure of the pump rises while the joint is in a locked state in which the relief valve closes the orifice, the relief valve is opened, thereby limiting torque transmission to a predetermined value based on the relief pressure. Further, by opening a free valve also associated with the pump, the torque transmitting function of the pump rendered inoperative and a free state (2WD) occurs in which there is no torque transmission. A detecting coil is provided in parallel with the solenoid coil. After the solenoid coil is driven, the current value is changed. A change in magnetic flux according to a magnetic resistance in association with the movement of the movable magnetic ring occurs in the detecting coil. The position of the movable magnetic ring is discriminated from a voltage which is generated in the detecting coil in this instance.
Abstract:
Two rotary shafts to transfer a motive power are relatively rotatably coupled. One of the shafts is coupled to a rotor and the other is coupled to a cam. A plurality of plungers which execute a stroke motion in the axial direction by the relative rotation with the cam are provided for the rotor. The oil injection and discharge into/from the plunger enclosing chamber are executed by a rotary valve. The rotary valve automatically switches a phase relation so as to obtain correct opening/closing timings even if the direction of the relative rotation changed. The rotary valve rotates integratedly with the cam side and opens or closes intake/discharge holes of the plungers for a plurality of intake ports and discharge ports which are alternately formed on the cam surface. The discharge ports on the front surface of the rotary valve are mutually coupled by communicating grooves formed on the back surface. An orifice is formed between the communicating groove and the intake port. A force by hydraulic reaction forces of the front and back surfaces of the rotary valve is set to be smaller than a force by a plunger liquid pressure acting area which is applied to the rotary valve. Thus, a force such as to always closely adhere a gap between the rotor and the rotary valve is generated, thereby minimizing an oil leakage from the rotary valve.
