    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for maximizing the potential of resources dedicated to aerial user equipment (UEs). In one example, a UE may receive signaling indicating that a cell supports communications exclusively with aerial UEs. The signaling may be used to bar non-aerial UEs from accessing the cell and reserve resources for communications with aerial UEs. In another example, a UE may receive signaling identifying one or more frequency bands dedicated to aerial UEs. The UE may then communicate on the one or more frequency bands. In yet another example, a UE may receive signaling indicating a set of aerial access categories supported by a cell. The signaling may be used to reserve resources for high-priority aerial UEs (e.g., aerial UEs used for law enforcement purposes).

    Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for transmitting a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) including one or more MAC service data units (SDUs) of a logical channel; and transmitting a first type of MAC subheader including or excluding first logical channel identifier (LCID) information and including or excluding first length information, wherein a first size of the first LCID information is equal to or smaller than a second size of second LCID information of a second type of MAC subheader that is different than the first type of MAC subheader, and a third size of the first length information is equal to or smaller than a fourth size of second length information of the second type of MAC subheader.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for handover are provided. An example method may include receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission from a network entity, the PDSCH transmission comprising a set of radio resource control (RRC) messages, each RRC message in the set of RRC messages comprises a respective group handover configuration in a set of group handover configurations associated with a respective UE in a set of UEs including the UE, the set of RRC messages being included in a set of medium access control (MAC) service data units (SDUs) (MAC SDUs) in a MAC protocol data unit (PDU). The example method may further include processing a first subset of the MAC SDUs that are associated with the UE and discard a second subset the MAC SDUs that are not applicable to the UE.
