Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure, for a first beam group of a set of beam groups associated with the UE, a first channel busy ratio (CBR) for the first beam group. The UE may receive, from a second UE, an indication of a second CBR for a second beam group associated with the second UE. The UE may transmit, to the second UE using a beam included in the first beam group, a signal using one or more transmit parameters that are based at least in part on at least one of the first CBR or the second CBR. Abstract: This disclosure relates to sidelink carrier aggregation and cross-carrier scheduling indications in sidelink control information (SCI). Specifically, in one aspect, a transmit UE may configure a multi-component carrier grant including a plurality of component carriers for a physical sidelink share channel (PSSCH). The transmit UE may further transmit, one or both of a set of first SCI each including a single component carrier grant corresponding to one component carrier from the multi-component carrier grant and associated with scheduling information of the one component carrier, or a second SCI including the multi-component carrier grant and associated with scheduling information of the plurality of component carriers. In another aspect, a receiver UE may receive one or both of the set of first SCI each including the single component carrier grant corresponding to one component carrier from the multi-component carrier grant, or the second SCI including the multi-component carrier grant.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for determining round-trip time (RTT) of a user equipment (UE). In an aspect, each gNodeB in a plurality of gNodeBs measure signaling data related to an uplink RTT reference signal received from the UE and the downlink RTT reference signal transmitted by each gNodeB. The signaling data comprises one of a processing delay between a time of arrival (TOA) of the uplink RTT reference signal and a time of transmission (TOT) of the downlink RTT reference signal or a total RTT between the TOT of the downlink RTT reference signal and the TOA of the uplink RTT reference signal. The signaling data is sent to a single entity, other than the UE, e.g., another gNodeB or a location server, where signaling data relevant to the UE is aggregated. The aggregated signaling data may be sent to the UE to determine the RTT for the UE or used by the location server to determine the RTT for the UE.

Abstract: In some aspects of the disclosure, an apparatus for wireless communication includes a receiver and a transmitter. The transmitter is configured to transmit a first transmission during a first time slot and to transmit a second transmission during a second time slot that is after the first time slot. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques allow a user equipment (UE) to efficiently identify a trigger state that is linked to a configuration for receiving and measuring reference signals from a transmission and reception point (TRPs). The UE may receive an indication of different lists of trigger states associated with different TRPs, and, when the UE receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating a trigger state index, the UE may reference an appropriate list to identify the trigger state corresponding to the trigger state index. In particular, the UE may determine a control resource set (CORESET) pool index of a CORESET in which the DCI is received, and the UE may identify the trigger state corresponding to the trigger state index from a list of trigger states associated with the CORESET pool index.

Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication over a sidelink between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. The first UE may receive, from a base station, a first sidelink grant for a transmission between the first UE and the second UE. The first UE may communicate the transmission according to the sidelink grant. The first UE may monitor a configured duration of a sidelink round trip time timer from the transmission. The first UE may monitor a configured duration of a sidelink retransmission timer from an end of the sidelink round trip time timer. The first UE may allow start of a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode after the duration of the sidelink retransmission time if a second grant is not received during the sidelink retransmission timer.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may identify a resource for wireless communication, the resource being in a first state where the resource is active for wireless communication and is inactive for a communication failure recovery procedure. The wireless device may determine that a communication failure has occurred during a first communication period. In some cases, one or more techniques for confirming the communication failure may be used to verify the failure. The wireless device may transition during a second communication period and based at least in part on the communication failure, the resource to a second state where the resource is inactive for wireless communication and is active for the communication failure recovery procedure. The wireless device may perform the communication failure recovery procedure using the resource transitioned to the second state.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support security techniques for ranging in wireless networks. A first device may transmit an indication to initiate a ranging procedure with a second device, and in response to the indication, the second device may transmit signaling to the first device and to one or more third devices. The first device and the one or more third devices may each determine a respective location metric associated with the second device based on the signaling. The one or more third devices may each transmit, to the first device, the respective location metric. Based on the communicated location metric(s), the first device may determine whether an eavesdropper is present and may communicate with the second device based on the determination.
