    Abstract: A user device and transportation entity, such as a transport vehicle or transport server, perform information exchanges for a transportation service using Device-to-Device (D2D) communications, such as dedicated short-range communication (DSRC), a cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X), or a 5G New Radio (NR). The information exchanges, for example, are related to, e.g., logistics and delivery of transportation services. For example, the user device may transmit a transportation request message that includes information elements, such as an identifier, a type of transport device requested, a number of users, requested destination, etc. The transportation entity may transmit a transportation response message accepting or rejecting the request. Additional messages, such as a status request and status of the transportation, as well as messages related to completing the transportation service may be exchanged.

    Abstract: Techniques disclosed provide for enhanced V2X communications by defining information Elements (IE) for V2X messaging between V2X entities. For a transmitting vehicle that sends a V2X message to a receiving vehicle, these IEs are indicative of a detected vehicle model type detected by the transmitting vehicle of a detected vehicle; a pitch rate of the transmitting vehicle, a detected vehicle, or a detected object; a roll rate of the transmitting vehicle, a detected vehicle, or a detected object; a yaw rate of a detected vehicle, or a detected object; a pitch rate confidence; a roll rate confidence; an indication of whether a rear brake light of a detected vehicle is on; or an indication of whether a turning signal of a detected vehicle is on; or any combination thereof. With this information, the receiving vehicle is able to make more intelligent maneuvers than otherwise available through traditional V2X messaging.

    Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein for transmission of location information by a user equipment (UE) to other UEs. A UE receives Satellite Positioning System (SPS) signals and determines whether the SPS signals are reliable. The UE determines a location estimate to be transmitted to other UEs using the SPS signals if the SPS signals are determined to be reliable and using non-SPS information if the SPS signals are determined to be not reliable. The location information is transmitted to other UEs in a message that includes an indication of the source of information used to generate the location estimate. A UE that receives the message may determine its location estimate based, at least in part, on the indication of the source of information, e.g., by determining whether SPS signals are reliable based, at least in part, on the indication of the source of information received in the message.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide techniques for applying redundancy mitigation rules when transmitting sensor data sharing messages. A method, performed by a sidelink user equipment (UE), includes observing, via one or more sensors, a set of objects in an environment in which the sidelink UE is operating, applying one or more redundancy mitigation rules to the set of objects, determining, from the set of objects, a number of objects to be shared with one or more other sidelink UEs after the one or more redundancy mitigation rules have been applied to the set of objects, determining, based on the determined number of objects to be shared, whether to transmit a sensor data sharing message (SDSM) to the one or more other sidelink UEs indicating the objects to be shared from the set of objects, and taking one or more actions based on the determination of whether to transmit the SDSM.
