    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may receive a first set of ranging measurements based at least in part on a first one or more positioning reference signals communicated over a sidelink between a pedestrian user equipment (P-UE) and a vehicle UE (V-UE). The network node may receive a second set of ranging measurements based at least in part on a second one or more positioning reference signals communicated over an access link between the P-UE and one or more base stations. The network node may transmit, to the P-UE, an estimated position of the P-UE. For example, in some aspects, the estimated position of the P-UE may be based at least in part on the first set of ranging measurements and the second set of ranging measurements.     Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for a vehicle user equipment (VUE) to obtain extrinsic information about an object or location. The VUE may transmit a request for information about the object or the location to a road side unit (RSU). The RSU may receive the request and determine a set of extrinsic information for the first UE regarding the object or the location based on a set of information from one or more other UEs. The extrinsic information includes information that is not provided by the VUE. The RSU may transmit the set of extrinsic information to the VUE. The VUE may determine whether to accept a feature of the object or the location in the extrinsic information based on the set of extrinsic information and a set of intrinsic information detected by the VUE, The VUE may select an autonomous driving action based on the accepted feature.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) initiates a positioning session based on ranging in a distributed system of UEs. The positioning session includes a plurality of anchor UEs with known positions that provide information including ranging information and their positions to the initiator UE in post-ranging messages. The initiator UE identifies anchor UEs that provide information that does not significantly contribute to the final position estimate for the initiator UE. The initiator UE, for example, may generate position estimates and associated accuracy levels for different subsets of anchor UEs and may use the accuracy levels to identify a subset of anchor UEs that may be used for positioning in place of the full set of anchor UEs without a significant loss of accuracy. Selected UEs are excluded from providing post-ranging messages in subsequent positioning sessions to reduce signaling overhead and improve efficiency.

    Abstract: In one aspect, resource selection may be performed where single frequency full-duplex (SFFD) UEs are present in a V2X system. Signaling and procedures may enable the coexistence of half-duplex (HD) and SFFD-capable UEs. Based on the resource reservation information obtained from other UEs, the SFFD UE may determine which among the reserved time-frequency resources is amenable for performing the SFFD operation. In one aspect, the time-frequency resources chosen for SFFD may partially or fully overlap with the reserved time-frequency resources, based on the self-interference cancellation capability of the SFFD UE, the RSRP, and/or the RSSI on the reserved time-frequency resources. Accordingly, the full-duplex capability of an SFFD-capable UE may be leveraged, and spectral efficiency improved.
