Abstract:
A device for detachable suspension of baskets, shelves, paper roll holders etc. from a door or the like, includes a carrier element with through slots or holes for holding the baskets, shelves etc., a first fastener and a second fastener, which fasteners carry the carrier element and are adapted to be fixed to the door or the like. Each of the first and second fasteners comprises an L-shaped element with a first leg, which is adapted to be engaged with one edge side of the door and its opposite edge side, respectively, and a second leg, to which the carrier element is fixed in suspension. A first hook portion is movably attached to the second leg of the first fastener, and a second hook portion is immovably attached to the second leg of the second fastener. By moving the first hook portion away from the second hook portion, the carrier element is clamped to the door.
Abstract:
A system for supplying power to electromechanical brake systems is disclosed, generally comprising a primary power supply, one or more electromechanical brake units, and one or more capacitors for supplying auxiliary power to the brake units in the event of a failure of the primary power supply. In certain embodiments, the brake units comprise self-energizing electromechanical brake units. In other embodiments, each brake unit is supplied auxiliary power by its own capacitor.
Abstract:
An electronically controlled braking system includes at least one central control unit operable to assign identifiers during an identifier assignment routine, a first distributed electronic control unit, a second distributed electronic control unit and a control network electrically connecting the at least one control unit, the first distributed electronic control unit and the second distributed electronic control unit. The identifiers include a first identifier and a second identifier, with one of the first identifier or the second identifier being assigned to the first distributed electronic control unit and the other of the first identifier or the second identifier being assigned to the second distributed electronic control unit at least in part based upon the timing of a signal reaching, via the control network, the first distributed electronic control unit and the second distributed electronic control unit.
Abstract:
A braking system includes at least one power supply, and first and second brake component each at least partially operated by electrical power. First and second power supply networks electrically connect the power supply with the first brake component and the second brake component respectively. An auxiliary power supply link is activatable to electrically connect the first brake component and the second brake component when a failure occurs in one of the first power supply network or the second power supply network, the auxiliary power supply link adapted to transmit the electrical power between the first brake component and the second brake component when the failure occurs.
Abstract:
A brake system for a heavy vehicle includes a control network, a brake component, a central control unit, and a distributed electronic control unit. The central control unit generates central control signals adapted to control the brake component, which control signals are transmitted to the brake component over the control network. The distributed electronic control unit receives the central control signals, controls the brake component in accordance with the central control signals if the central control signals are received during expected time periods, and controls the brake component in accordance with an alternative control scheme if the central control signals are not received during the expected time periods.
Abstract:
An electrically controlled braking system includes at least one control unit and first and second brake component responsive to control signals generated by the control unit. A first control network electrically connects the control unit and the first brake component, and a second control network electrically connects the control unit and the second brake component. An auxiliary control link is activatable to electrically connect the first brake component and the second brake component when a failure occurs in one of the first control network or the second control network, the auxiliary control link adapted to transmit the control signals between the first brake component and the second brake component when the failure occurs.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a sliding door arrangement with an attenuation and retraction device facilitating soft-closing of a sliding door. The arrangement includes an attenuation and retraction device, which may be placed in the extension of a rail guiding and retaining the door, and a pin that extends from the door and interacts with the attenuation and retraction device. The pin may optionally be locked in a retracted position during mounting of the door in order to protect the pin from damage resulting from excessive side forces.
Abstract:
There is provided a method of determining whether a subject belongs to a first or a second group of subjects, wherein the risk of having or developing of a renal impairment is higher in the first group than in the second group, comprising the steps of: a) measuring an amount of fibulin 1 in a sample from the subject to obtain a sample value; b) comparing the sample value to a reference value; and if the sample value is higher than the reference value, c1) concluding that the subject belongs to the first group; and if the sample value is lower than the reference value, c2) concluding that the subject belongs to the second group, wherein the sample is an optionally modified sample derived from urine or blood, such as an optionally diluted serum or plasma sample. Associated means are also provided.
Abstract:
A combination is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the combination includes a suspension bar, a tool holder adapted for attachment to the suspension bar, a hook device for suspending an object and a fastening device which enables the hook device to be releasably attached to the suspension bar. In at least one embodiment, the fastening device includes a first and a second portion for retaining engagement with the web of the suspension bar and its respective flanges. The first portion forms the upper portion of the fastening device, when mounted, to which portion the hook device is fixedly attached either directly or indirectly. The second portion of the fastening device is pivotally attached to the first portion by way of a joint, which, with the tool holder in its mounted state, is oriented parallel with and located between the flanges of the suspension bar.
Abstract:
In a method in an intermediate gateway device enabling improved configuration of a device in an IP system, said device being associated with a first network for utilization of a resource associated with a second network, where said two networks are in communication via said intermediate gateway device, performing the steps of receiving (S10) a request for a set of configuration parameters associated with said resource from said device, relaying (S20) said configuration request to said resource; and retrieving and forwarding (S30) said requested configuring parameters from said resource to said device to enable improved configuration of said device.
