摘要: An apparatus for containing packaged battery cells in an airflow environment that includes a battery cell package with a printed circuit board, a battery cell, and a containment compartment, where the battery cell is suspended from the printed circuit board in an inverted position. The battery cell is electrically and structurally coupled to the printed circuit board, wherein a solder connection electrically and structurally couples the battery cell and the printed circuit board. The apparatus further includes a cavity of the containment compartment disposed below the battery cell, wherein a volume of the cavity of the containment compartment is greater than a volume of the battery cell.

摘要: An apparatus for cooling and containing packaged battery cells includes a first structure disposed on a printed circuit board for encasing a first battery cell, the first battery cell being electrically coupled to the circuit board, the first structure includes an external surface and an internal surface defining a first cavity in which the first battery cell is located. The apparatus further includes a first seal surrounding the first battery cell between the printed circuit board coupled to the first structure. The apparatus further includes a first thermal interface material located in the first cavity, wherein a first portion of the first thermal interface material is thermally coupled to an interior surface and a second portion of the first thermal interface material is thermally coupled to the first battery cell. The apparatus further includes a plurality of heatsink fins located on the external surface of the first structure.

摘要: A non-sealed apparatus for batteries with a containment structure for gasses that includes a battery enclosure with an upper portion and a lower portion. The apparatus further includes a plurality of batteries disposed in a lower portion of the battery enclosure. The apparatus has at least one battery containment structure disposed in an upper portion of the battery enclosure, which is configured to move downward thereby sealing the plurality of batteries upon a condition. Further, a transfer channel assembly is provided within the battery enclosure and configured to transfer and/or contain gases emitted by the plurality of batteries upon the condition. The apparatus also has at least one fan configured to circulate the air in and out of the battery enclosure through the first perforated opening and the second perforated opening.

摘要: A system and method for controlling an EMC protection apparatus in a removable component. The removable component is inserted into an end product. As a result of the insertion power is applied to the EMC protection apparatus. A determination is made as to whether a power good signal is detected within the removable component. In response to a power good signal, an EMC protection device is rotated from a retracted state to an engaged state such that the EMC protection device is placed over an enclosure opening in the removable component forming an EMC seal. Full functionality of the removable component can be delayed until such time as the rotation is completed.

The method pre-processes the sensor and performance data generating a context with respect to the first aircraft. The method transmits the pre-processed sensor data and first aircraft performance data to a set of aircraft within a region of the first aircraft. The method receives pre-processed sensor data and aircraft performance data from the set of aircraft within the region of the first aircraft. The method processes the received pre-processed sensor and performance data from the set of aircraft, and the method generates alerts associated with adverse conditions determined based on the analysis of the pre-processed sensor data and performance data received from the set of aircraft in the context of the performance data of the first aircraft.

摘要: An apparatus for a fire suppressant system on a server rack includes an integrated battery feature, a manifold, a conduit, and a control card, where the integrated battery feature includes a plurality of battery cells in an enclosure. A first end of the conduit coupled to a control valve on the manifold and a second end of the conduit coupled to the integrated battery feature. The control card configured to open the control valve on the manifold, where the control valve is configured to release a fire suppressant into the enclosure of the integrated battery feature. In one embodiment, the fire suppressant is contained within a pressurized fire suppressant reservoir mounted on the server rack. In another embodiment, the fire suppressant is a cooling fluid diverted from a radiator cooling unit on the server rack.
