Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for transmitting and receiving pre-emption indications. The pre-emption indication is transmitted every K symbols or slots, on a group-common physical downlink control channel. The pre-emption indication is in respect of a group of K symbols or slots preceding a symbol or slot containing the group-common pre-emption indication. The group-common pre-emption indication indicates, for the group of K symbols or slots, which resources are pre-empted. The base station schedules resources for first downlink traffic, and transmits the scheduled first downlink traffic subject to pre-emption, and transmits second downlink traffic by pre-empting resources for the first downlink traffic. On the UE side, the UE receives the pre-emption indication. The UE receives its scheduled traffic taking into account the pre-emption indication.

Abstract: The method includes generating, by an access point (AP), signaling that includes an AP identifier (ID) field, a bandwidth (BW) field, a guard interval (GI) field, a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) field, and a tail field, the AP ID field is used to indicate an ID of the AP, the BW field is used to indicate bandwidth required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the GI is used to indicate a length of a cyclic prefix (CP) required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the CRC field is used to guard a field before the CRC field in the signaling, and the Tail field is used to empty an encoder and a decoder, where the CRC field and the Tail field are the last two fields of the signaling. The method also includes sending, by the AP, the signaling.

Abstract: Methods and systems for access to unlicensed spectrum are described. Each of one or more transmit points (TPs), transmit over an unlicensed spectrum a downlink transmission starting at a downlink transmission starting time after a successful clear channel assessment (CCA) process of each of the one or more TPs. For each of the one or more TPs, the successful CCA process has a CCA process starting time enabling the successful CCA process to be completed at the downlink transmission starting time. The one or more TPs may be licensed assisted access (LAA) TPs, and the starting time corresponds to a starting time of a licensed spectrum subframe.

Abstract: A method for dynamically dividing or consolidating sub-bands in-between Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) status measurements upon detection of a CCA bandwidth adjustment condition is provided. The method includes determining at least a single CCA status for at least a single sub-band during a first period, and detecting a CCA bandwidth adjustment condition for dividing the single sub-band into two or more separate sub-bands, where a combination of the two or more separate sub-bands occupies the same frequency band as the single sub-band. The method also includes determining a separate CCA status for each of the two or more separate sub-bands during a second period. An apparatus for performing this method is also provided.

Abstract: A compensation method, a base station, and a user equipment for uplink power control in a CoMP system are provided. The method includes: a base station determines an adjustment value for an uplink sending power of a UE; the base station sends to the UE indication information and the adjustment value for the uplink sending power of the UE, where the indication information is used for indicating a range of the adjustment value for the uplink sending power of the UE, so that the UE, according to the indication information and the adjustment value for the uplink sending power of the UE, determines the uplink sending power of the UE. Embodiments of the present invention are capable of improving the quality of sending uplink data.
