    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for using selectable elements to invoke an automated assistant at a computing device. While operating the computing device, a user may not be aware that the automated assistant can be invoked according to certain invocation phrases. In order to inform the user of the functionality of the automated assistant, the user can be presented with selectable elements that can initialize the automated assistant when selected. Furthermore, a selectable element can provide an invocation phrase in textual form so that the user is aware of their ability to invoke the automated assistant by speaking the invocation phrase. The selectable element can be presented at different devices associated with the user, and the automated assistant can be initialized at a device that is separate from the device where the selectable element is presented.

    Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to pre-emptively initializing an automated assistant in a vehicle according to certain indications, in order to reduce latency while also seeking to preserve computational resources. In some implementations, data for effectuating one or more features of an automated assistant can be loaded into memory of a computing device based on vehicle interaction data. For example, the vehicle interaction data can characterize instances in which the user, from within their vehicle, invoked the automated assistant within a threshold period of time of an application completing an operation. Based on the vehicle interaction data, subsequent instances of the operation being completed while the user is in the vehicle can cause data to be loaded into memory in order to pre-emptively prepare the automated assistant to be utilized by the user.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer readable media are described related to recording, organizing, and making audio files available for consumption by voice-activated products. In various implementations, in response to receiving an input from a first user indicating that the first user intends to record audio content, audio content may be captured and stored. Input may be received from the first user indicating at least one identifier for the audio content. The stored audio content may be associated with the at least one identifier. A voice input may be received from a subsequent user. In response to determining that the voice input has particular characteristics, speech recognition may be biased in respect of the voice input towards recognition of the at least one identifier. In response to recognizing, based on the biased speech recognition, presence of the at least one identifier in the voice input, the stored audio content may be played.

    Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate providing and/or detecting an automated assistant suppressing output for limiting responsiveness of an automated assistant that is available via another computing device. The output can be rendered as an inaudible tone in an environment, in order to pre-emptively suppress responses from automated assistants that may detect a forthcoming spoken utterance from a user. Limiting responsiveness in this way can preserve computational resources in environments, such as vehicles, in which multiple users may be carrying devices that are capable of being invoked via a spoken utterance. For instance, pre-emptively limiting responsiveness of other automated assistants can eliminate interruptions at devices that may other be inadvertently invoked as a result of detecting certain spoken utterances.

    Abstract: Implementations relate to interactions, over a wireless communication modality, between an automated assistant of an automobile computer system, and separate client device(s). For example, despite an automobile computer system not having a third-party messaging application installed, the automobile automated assistant can access requested actions to be performed by the third-party messaging application in order to further a requested action.
