摘要: A fuel absorbent is provided in which polymer particles having a fuel absorbing ability are contained or dispersed in a binder matrix permeable to fuel. The fuel permeates the binder and is absorbed by the polymer particles. A process is provided for making the fuel absorbent by mixing polymer particles having fuel absorbing ability with a binder dissolved in a solvent, to thereby obtain a dispersion mixture having the polymer particles dispersed therein. The dispersion mixture is then dried to cause the polymer particles to be dispersed in a matrix of the binder. The fuel absorbent has excellent durability and fuel absorbing/desorbing ability.

摘要: A display panel apparatus includes pixels. Each pixel includes an organic luminescent layer between an upper electrode and a lower electrode and is configured to emit a red, a green, or a blue light. A glass substrate is above the upper electrode. A lens sheet is between the pixels and the glass substrate and includes lenses and a base. Each lens corresponds to a pixel and protrudes from the base. Partitions are between the glass substrate and the lens sheet for partitioning the lenses. The partitions have a first height that is greater than a second height of the lenses. The base includes trenches between the lenses. The trenches are recessed in a direction opposite the lenses. The partitions are in the trenches. Each partition has a cross-section that includes an upper side that has a different length than a bottom side and lateral sides that are tilted.

摘要: An information processing device capable of processing navigation information is provided. A touch panel can display images and can receive a user's touch operation. An image generation section generates a navigation image including a map image and a plurality of operation button images for receiving the touch operation, the images being displayed on the touch panel. A plurality of operation button images include a first operation button image related to a navigation function and a second operation button image related to a plurality of functions other than the navigation function. The image generation section generates a first image which is obtained by combining the navigation image and the first operation button image and a second image which includes the second operation button. The first image and the second image are respectively displayed in a first display region and a second display region. The first display region and the second display region are separated by a movable boundary.

摘要: A power transmission unit including: a first prime mover; speed change gear pairs; output members; a differential mechanism, which has a first rotary element connected with the first prime mover, a second rotary element, and a third rotary element selectively outputting the power to the output member, and adapted to perform a differential action among those three rotary elements; and a second prime mover connected with the second rotary element. The speed change gear pair includes at least one pair of first speed change gear pair, arranged between the first rotary element and the output member and allowed to transmit the torque selectively, and at least one pair of second speed change gear pair arranged between the third rotary element and the output member and allowed to transmit the torque selectively. A locking mechanism locks the second prime mover selectively to halt a rotation of the second prime mover.

摘要: An organic EL element includes a substrate and a light refractive layer, a first transparent electrode layer, an insulation layer, a hole transport layer, and a photosensitive resin layer stacked above the substrate. A luminous function layer is above the hole transport layer in a recess defined by the photosensitive resin layer. A second transparent electrode layer is above the luminous function layer. The light reflective layer, the first transparent electrode layer, the insulation layer, and the hole transport layer are formed above the substrate in a region isolated by the photosensitive resin layer. The photosensitive resin layer comprises a material that absorbs incident light of a predetermined wavelength. The first transparent electrode layer, the insulation layer, the hole transport layer, and the photosensitive resin layer each have a reflectance value that is between a local minimum value and a neighborhood value of the local minimum value.
