Abstract: Disclosed is a method of appraising a genuine product using a quantum dot which includes obtaining image data for fluorescence generated from a target product and a quantum dot layer located in one region of the target product by laser light; determining a relative height and a relative distance between target quantum dots constituting the quantum dot layer by using the image data for the fluorescence, and generating a quantum dot arrangement map; and determining whether the target product is genuine by comparing the quantum dot arrangement map with a previously stored reference quantum dot arrangement map.

Abstract: The KAI1 protein or a fragment thereof according to the present invention inhibited hepatic fibrosis in mice in which acute hepatic fibrosis was induced by CCl4. The KAI1 protein suppressed hepatic fibrosis by inhibiting fibrosis of hepatocytes treated with TGF-β1 and promoting senescence of hepatic stellate cells. Therefore, the pharmaceutical composition comprising the KAI1 protein according to the present invention may be used to effectively prevent or treat hepatic fibrosis.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for predicting a change in the occupants within a large exhibition hall in real time based on deep learning. A proposed method of predicting a change in the number of occupants within a space in real time includes dividing, into zones, a space where a number of occupants is to be predicted and pre-processing data related to a number of occupants within the space collected through simulations, generating the pre-processed data in a form of time-series data for deep learning, training a deep learning model for predicting a number of occupants in each divided zone using the generated time-series data, and predicting the number of occupants within the space by inputting, to the trained model, the data related to a number of occupants within the space collected in real time through socket communication with a server.

Abstract: A hollow mesoporous organic silica nano/microparticle having metal particles deposited thereon, and a method for preparing the same. The method may prepare a spherical nanoparticle by coating a porous organic silica layer on an inorganic silica particle having the metal particles deposited thereon and via selective etching of the layer. In addition, two or more types of metals pre-synthesized together with a magnetic particle, or different shapes of metals may be deposited on the nanoparticle at a target concentration. Thus, the nano/microparticle may be used for a drug delivery matrix, a catalyst, and a photothermal effect.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid butadiene compound with both ends modified, a method for preparing same, and a use thereof. More specifically, the present invention provides a liquid butadiene rubber compound with both ends modified that is synthesized using a chain transfer agent having a triethoxysily functional group and a tetrasulfide functional group, and a 1,3-butadiene monomer, a rubber composition for a tire comprising same, a method for preparing same, and the like. According to the present invention, by introducing a silica-friendly functional group at both ends of the chain, hysteresis or the like caused by the chain ends of an existing liquid butadiene rubber is controlled, and thus, various performances affecting fuel efficiency characteristics can be improved.
