    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for network performance monitoring. In example embodiments, durations of normally released calls and durations of abnormally released calls are monitored during a measurement period. Based on the monitored durations of normally released calls and the monitored durations of abnormally released calls, an average value of the monitored durations of normally released call and an average value of the monitored durations of abnormally released calls are further determined. Then, the average value of the monitored durations of normally released call and the average value of the monitored durations of abnormally released calls are transmitted.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for fulfillment of service requirements. In a method at a service provider, knowledge about a plurality of network and management domains is collected, and service requirements from a service consumer are determined. Based on the service requirements from the service consumer and the collected knowledge about the plurality of network and management domains, a set of access network domains is selected from a plurality of access network domains to provide a service area for the service consumer. At an access domain, mapping of at least a part service area to tracking areas is determined to fulfill the service requirements from the service consumer. Thus, the service provision for a service consumer may consider network characteristics such as mobility, load, performance, configurations, topology or the like, which is more efficient.

    Abstract: In response to a first channel associated with a first OLT and a second channel associated with a second OLT being enabled for target traffic, a traffic scheduler for scheduling the target traffic is determined by the first OLT. The first channel and the second channel correspond to a first wavelength and a second wavelength, respectively. The first OLT transmits channel configurations and offset information to an ONU, based on scheduling of a first group of data units and a second group of data units of the target traffic by the traffic scheduler on the first channel and the second channel, respectively. The channel configurations indicate channel identifications associated with the first channel and the second channel, and the offset information indicates timing information of the first group of data units and the second group of data units corresponding to physical frames transmitted on the first and second channels.

The at least one non-transitory memory including computer program code configured to, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to determine whether a bit error rate (BER) of a FEC codeword is at or below a correctable BER, wherein the FEC codeword is transmitted between an OLT and ONU, a first percentage of the FEC codeword is at a lower order modulation, and a second percentage of the FEC codeword is at a higher order modulation, establish, based on a determination that the BER is at or below the correctable BER, a connection between the OLT and the ONU at the higher order modulation, and maintain, based on a determination that the BER is greater than the correctable BER, the connection between the OLT and the ONU at the lower order modulation.
