    摘要: A position detecting apparatus includes a light-transmitting mirror that pivots around a pivot shaft and reflects measuring light from a light source; a light-receiving mirror that pivots around the pivot shaft and reflects returning light from an object; and a light-receiving element that receives the returning light from the light-receiving mirror. When the light-transmitting mirror and the light-receiving mirror are at rest, a first mirror angle between a mirror surface of the light-receiving mirror and a direction from the pivot shaft to the light-receiving element is larger than a second mirror angle between a mirror surface of the light-transmitting mirror and the direction.

    摘要: An image display device includes a display panel, a plurality of light emitting elements, a reflective sheet, and a first optical sheet. The display panel displays an image on a front face of the display panel. The light emitting elements are disposed along one edge of the display panel. The reflective sheet is disposed opposite a rear face of the display panel. The reflective sheet reflects light from the light emitting elements toward the rear face of the display panel. The first optical sheet is disposed between the display panel and the reflective sheet. The first optical sheet has a plurality of protrusions on a face of the first optical sheet that is opposite the reflective sheet. The protrusions have ridgelines extending along a direction that is different from a direction in which the one edge of the display panel extends.

    摘要: A location-based address adapter for use in a system to facilitate communication between a host computer and one peripheral device of a plurality of peripheral devices includes a body and an electrical circuit. The body is removably attached to one peripheral device at a time. The electrical circuit includes a communications interface circuit and an adapter memory circuit. The communications interface circuit has a respective pass-through wired connection between each of a plurality of input connectors and a plurality of output connectors to facilitate bi-directional communications between the host computer and the peripheral device. The adapter memory circuit stores a unique physical location address for association with a physical location associated with the peripheral device to which the body is attached. The unique physical location address is a non-network based address. The memory circuit has a memory connector to facilitate direct electrical communicative connection only with the respective peripheral device.
