At least a portion of the text is converted to an audio signal upon the detection of an indicator, the indicator defining a boundary in the text by either being embodied therein or comprising delays in receiving text. The audio signal is played through a speaker to the user to provide feedback.

    摘要: Phosphor compositions of the formula Zn1-3x/2MxX:Mn, wherein M is selected from the group consisting of the trivalent cations of Al, In, Ga, and mixtures thereof, and X is selected from the group consisting of S, Se, Te, and mixtures thereof are disclosed. Also disclosed are phosphor compositions of the formula, MX:Cu,L,A wherein M is selected from the divalent ions of Sr, Mg, Ca, Ba, X is selected from the group consisting of S, Se, Te, and mixtures thereof, and mixtures thereof, L is selected from the group consisting of the trivalent cations of the lanthanides, Al, In, Ga, Sc, and mixtures thereof, and A is selected from the alkali metal ions or mixtures thereof. Emission chromaticity of the phosphors is controlled by varying codopant concentrations. Electroluminescent devices comprising the phosphors also are disclosed.

    摘要: A CMOS compatible heterogeneously integrated material platform for photonic integrated circuitry is invented. The material platform has SiO2 as cladding material, at least a bottom layer made of moderate refractive index (contrast) material(s), a bonded single crystal Si layer transfer from either a SOI wafer or a ion implanted single crystal Si wafer ready for ion cut split on top of the bottom layer, and some devices enabling light coupling between the devices made within these two layers. The invention provides a great material platform to offer a full set of photonic building blocks for all sorts of different applications such as photonic circuitry for optical neural network, quantum computing, telecommunication, data communication, optical switching, optical sensing, passive and/or active Si optical interposer with its size even bigger than lithography step field.

    摘要: An acoustic wave device system with its piezoelectric layer originating from a single crystal piezoelectric wafer/substrate is invented along with sets of detailed process steps to fabricate such a device using wafer-to-wafer and/or die-to-wafer bonding technologies. The proposed device system is particularly good to make bulk acoustic wave (BAW) devices. Methods allowing the single crystal piezoelectric wafer/substrate to be re-used are also given. The proposed methods include detailed process steps to allow heterogeneous integration of electrical chips into the system in a very cost efficient manner. The invention provides a practical and low-cost approach to fabricate the radio frequency (RF) front end chip incorporating RF filters and electronic components integrated into a small footprint which is particularly useful for mobile device and RF stations.

Various implementations may include identifying a plurality of target instructions that are configured to receive a first message from a source; providing target routing instructions to the first message for each of the target instructions including selected information commonly shared by the target instructions; and, when two of the identified target instructions are located in different directions from one another relative to a router, replicating the first message and routing the replicated messages to each of the identified target instructions in the different directions. The providing target routing instructions may further comprise the selected information utilizing a subset of bits that is commonly shared by the target instructions and being identified as a left operand, right operand or predicate operand, and may include the selection of one of a plurality of multiple-instruction subsets of the target instructions.

    摘要: A structure comprising a composite laminate having an edge; and an impact indicator which is carried by the edge and comprises a resin which fractures upon impact. The fracture provides permanent visible evidence of impact damage, for instance by cracking or by one or more pieces breaking off from the impact indicator. As well as providing such visible evidence of impact damage, the impact indicator may also provide an element of impact protection. Typically the impact indicator is formed from a resin which is more brittle and less strong than the material forming the composite laminate. For instance the material forming the composite laminate may be reinforced, and the resin forming the impact indicator may be un-reinforced.
