    摘要: An infrared imaging system having a focal plane array including an array of detector elements and a readout circuit and including nonuniformity correction circuitry on the focal plane array. The individual detector elements correspond to pixels of an infrared scene to be imaged. Offsets in detection signals from each pixel arising from nonuniformities in the individual detector elements in the array are corrected by storing offset correction values for each detector element and using the stored offset values to control correction circuitry as the respective detector element signals are read out. The detector array and readout circuit are preferably formed as a monolithic or hybrid structure and the offset correction is provided on the focal plane array prior to signal amplification and analog to digital conversion.

    摘要: A lithographic mask is illuminated with light from different directions such that intensities of a plurality of incident beams of light provide a largest possible integrated process window defined in terms of an allowed range for defining shapes. Constrained sets of intensity parameters are imposed. A first set of intensity parameters represents maximum possible intensities that can be permitted for overexposed tolerance positions. A second set of intensity parameters represents minimum possible intensities that can be permitted for underexposed tolerance positions. Optimum source intensities of incident beams are defined using a linear program and constraints. The optimum source intensities maximize an integrated range of dose and focal variations without causing printed shapes to depart from the allowed range. Apparatus are detailed and variations are described.

    摘要: A method is disclosed to obtain M final symbol decisions for signals received through N receive antennas that were transmitted in M parallel data layers, using a same spreading code from M transmit antennas. The method includes space-time equalizing the N received signals to generate M output signals from which at least inter-symbol interference is substantially removed and inter-layer interference is suppressed; despreading each of the M output signals for generating M soft symbol estimates; and processing the M soft symbol estimates to derive M final symbol decisions that are made in consideration of modeled residual inter-layer interference present in the space-time equalized M output signals. Processing includes operating a signal-plus-residual-interference (SPRI) detector that operates in accordance with a maximum likelihood (ML) technique, while space-time equalizing employs a linear minimum mean-square error (LMMSE) criterion. Transmitting may occur at a base station having the M transmit antennas, and receiving may occur at a mobile station having the N receive antennas.

The method thus allows for setting up a user-administrated spam filter for, e.g., SMS messages, e-mails, ringing tone or network setting messages. Access to the user-defined list may be password-protected, so as to prevent a user, such as a child, from amending the list, such amending being exclusively restricted to a person, such as a parent, administrating the phone. If the sender is not found in a user-defined white list, or if the sender is found in a user-defined black list, the message is discarded.
