    Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining rate matching behavior for a plurality of control resource sets (CORESETs) is provided. A base station (BS) bundles a plurality of CORESETs into a global resource set. The BS configures the global resource set for a User Equipment (UE). The BS determines resources assigned to a downlink data channel overlap at least a portion of the global resource set and determines whether data on the downlink data channel is to be rate matched around the global resource set or is to use resources in the global resource set. The BS transmits the data on the downlink data channel based on the determination of the rate matching.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, and computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing paging monitoring by a wireless device. In one aspect, the wireless device may receive a serving cell signal from a cell. The wireless device may determine a delay time based on the serving cell signal. The wireless device may monitor for the paging signal during the determined delay time. The wireless device may stop the monitoring for the paging signal upon or after expiration of the determined delay time. In some aspects, the wireless device may receive an indication of multiple paging signal monitoring occasions from the cell, which may include an indication of a number of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) to be transmitted from the cell and a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions per SSB in a paging occasion.

The method generally includes receiving one or more uplink grants scheduling a plurality of transmission occasions for the UE. The method generally includes performing a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure to attempt to acquire a channel for transmitting in at least one of the plurality of transmission occasions.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first transmit receive point (TRP) may transmit a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication to a user equipment (UE), wherein the first PDSCH communication includes a first set of layers for a codeword, and wherein a second set of layers for the codeword are transmitted to the UE in a second PDSCH communication from a second TRP. The first TRP may receive from the UE, acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information corresponding to the codeword.     Abstract: The present disclosure describes various aspects of the implementation and design of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in 5G new radio (NR) applications. Aspects include methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for one or more of multiple PDCCH search spaces, control resource block (CRB), irregular multiple slots or mini-slots grants, or fast control channel signaling for grant-free uplink (UL). For example, different scheduling entities can each have one or two search spaces defined (e.g., common and/or user equipment (UE)-centric search spaces). Also, CRBs can be used as units for PDCCH transmission instead of resource element groups/control channel elements (REGs/CCEs). In addition, irregularities in time domain, frequency domain, or both can be introduced in the granting of resource blocks (RBs) over multiple slots or mini-slots. Moreover, signaling can be used to indicate to a UE configured for grant-free UL the portion of the pool of resources available for grant-free UL.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may acquire a triggering synchronization signal block (SSB), which enables the UE to monitor for a floating Type-2 physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and to determine a subset of paging occasions (POs) to monitor. Or, the UE may monitor for a fixed Type-2 PDCCH, where the UE does not require a triggering signal to monitors POs. In another aspect, the UE may monitor for a paging transmission during a monitoring period. The UE may determine the monitoring period based on received signaling. The UE may receive the signaling, during the monitoring period, indicating that the monitoring period is to be ended before a scheduled end of the monitoring period. In this way, the UE may support a continuity requirement associated with downlink reference signaling (DRS) and may support reception of paging in a shared channel.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to DL control message monitoring are provided. A first wireless communication device monitors for a downlink control message from a base station during a first monitoring duration. Additionally, the first wireless communication device monitors for a network activity indication signal from the base station during the first monitoring duration. The first wireless communication device detects the network activity indication signal based on the monitoring of the network activity indication signal. The first wireless communication device switches from the first monitoring duration to a second monitoring duration for the monitoring of the downlink control message in response to detecting the network activity indication signal.
