Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) limits for multiple cells scheduling one cell in fifth generation new radio (5G NR). In an example, the aspects may include determining a PDCCH limit corresponding to at least one of a number of blind detections (BDs) and a number of control channel elements (CCEs) used for decoding PDCCH candidates for a first cell that schedules a second cell, and at least a third cell that schedules the second cell, wherein the third cell is the same cell as the second cell or the third cell is different from the second cell; and receiving one or more PDCCH transmissions from the first cell and the third cell based on the PDCCH limit.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a collision between a first uplink transmission and a second uplink transmission, wherein the first uplink transmission is a high priority uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission is a low priority uplink transmission; and cancel the second uplink transmission based at least in part on a threshold delay period, wherein the threshold delay period is based at least in part on a UE processing capability and a minimum processing timeline capability, and wherein the second uplink transmission is canceled before a first overlapping symbol of the first uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Wireless communications systems as described herein may be configured to support several service types with different latency, reliability, or throughput rates or standards. One such service type may be referred to as high-reliability, low latency communication (HRLLC). Enhancements to improve HRLLC performance in coexistence with and as a complement to legacy service types, such as LTE are described. These include, for example, downlink and uplink control enhancements, channel state information (CSI) feedback enhancements, physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) enhancements, and UL power control enhancements to support HRLLC.

In some systems, a first device may be in communication with a second device and may receive, from the second device, DCI in a downlink control channel and a message in a downlink shared channel. The message in the downlink shared channel may include an indication of a system information update that is relevant to the first device and may include information relating to one or more system information parameters that are updated. The first device may determine the system information update based on the DCI and the indication in the message and may acquire system information accordingly. Abstract: A method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting a request for action for at least one control resource set (CORESET) and associated search space. The action may include configuring, activating, and/or deactivating the at least one CORESET and associated search space. The CORESET may be a dynamic CORESET with a predefined number of search space occasions or a semi-static CORESET. The method also includes communicating in accordance with the request. The request is transmitted using at least one of an uplink radio resource control (RRC) message, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a sounding reference signal (SRS), a random access channel (RACH), or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The UE may switch, in connection with the request, to a bandwidth part (BWP) configured for the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first base station may communicate during asynchronous slots in accordance with a set of communication parameters determined from a handshake procedure performed with a second base station. For example, based on a change to a slot type of a slot to an asynchronous slot, the first base station and the second base station may perform the handshake procedure to determine the set of communication parameters and may communicate one or more messages during the slot in accordance with the set of communication parameters. Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating semi-static TCI configurations are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after receiving the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes receiving, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages using the indicated TCI state until a second downlink message including a TCI state change indication is received. An example method for wireless communication at a base station includes transmitting, to a UE, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after transmitting the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes transmitting, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages based on the indicated TCI state.
