Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink communication that includes one or more codepoints indicating a plurality of transmit precoder matrix indicator (TPMI) indices and/or a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator (SRI) codepoint indicating one or more SRS resources. The UE may identify, based at least in part on the one or more codepoints, one or more TPMI indices, of the plurality of TPMI indices, for one or more repetitions of a codebook-based PUSCH transmission and/or may identify, based at least in part on the SRI codepoint, one or more SRS resources for the one or more repetitions. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for wireless communications in narrowband frequency bands using frequency hopping. In some implementations, a base station (BS) groups a plurality of hopping channels of a frequency hopping pattern into a number of groups based on a bandwidth part (BWP) hopping frequency of each hopping channel of the frequency hopping pattern. The BS transmits indications of the frequency hopping pattern and the grouping of hopping channels to user equipments (UEs). The BS transmits a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) on a first hopping channel, and receives channel state information (CSI) of the first hopping channel from one or more of the UEs. In some other implementations, a UE receives indications of the frequency hopping pattern and hopping channel groups, and determines CSI of the first hopping channel based on the received CSI-RS. The UE may transmit the CSI to the BS.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for forward/retransmitting a data transmission to a target UE through a helper UE. A helper UE may receive a data transmission from a network node, determining whether the received data transmission is intended for a target UE or for the helper UE itself, based on a control message, and retransmitting the data transmission to the target UE upon determining that the data transmission is intended for the target UE. A network node such as a base station may transmit a control message to at least a help UE, the control message comprising an indicator of whether a data transmission is intended for the helper UE or a target UE and transmit the data transmission to at least the helper UE and the target UE.

Abstract: User equipment associated with a legacy network may utilize a bottom-to-top search technique to identify relevant control channel samples. Generating a control channel that is configured for the bottom-to-top search technique may lead to poor performance in a single-carrier waveform, which may be disadvantageous as networks move toward New Radio. In some aspects, described herein, a base station generates a control channel that is configured to minimize gaps in the control channel, and a user equipment performs a top-to-bottom search technique to identify relevant control channel samples. By using the top-to-bottom search technique, degradation of single-carrier waveforms is reduced and efficiency is improved.

In some implementations, a user equipment (UE) may receive a discovery reference signal (DRS) including a skipping signal identifying one or more UEs, may stay on an anchor channel when the skipping signal identifies the UE, and may switch from the anchor channel to a first downlink (DL) hopping channel of a DL frequency hopping pattern when the signal does not identify the UE. In some other implementations, a base station (BS) may be configured to output a DRS including a skipping signal identifying one or more UEs, output a signal indicating a channel occupancy time (COT) obtained on a first DL hopping channel of a DL frequency hopping pattern, and output DL data on the first DL hopping channel of the DL frequency hopping pattern.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to configured transmissions in a shared radio frequency band are provided. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), an indication of a first configured resource in a shared radio frequency band for a communication in a first direction. The UE receives, from the BS, a first configuration to select between a validation of the first direction or an absence of an invalidation of the first direction for using the first configured resource for the communication. The UE communicates, with the BS, the communication in the first direction using the first configured resource based on the first configuration.
