Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for identifying physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) parameters, such as a PDCCH blind decode limit and a PDCCH control channel element limit, for implementations where a user equipment (UE) is configured with two or more cell groups. The techniques described herein permit the UE or a base station to determine the quantity of cell groups that is to be considered when determining the PDCCH parameters, permit the UE to indicate PDCCH capability values across multiple frequency ranges, and permit the base station to schedule a quantity of PDCCHs for the UE that results in a quantity of blind decodes that exceeds a PDCCH blind decode limit or a quantity of control channel elements that exceeds a PDCCH control channel element limit.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for a two-step random access channel (RACH) procedure in which uplink random access preamble and message transmission occasions may span multiple transmission slots. Reference signal resources for transmitting a reference signal with a first random access message of the two-step RACH procedure may include at least one symbol in each of the multiple transmission slots. The reference signal resources, reference signal sequence, or both, may be identified based on a particular uplink random access message transmission occasion, random access preamble transmission occasion, random access preamble sequence configuration, or any combinations thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine a mapping between synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) and a random access message of a two-step random access procedure based on an indication in system information signaling or radio resource control (RRC) signaling. The random access message may include a random access preamble and a random access payload. The UE may determine, based on the mapping, an association between one or more beams carrying the SSBs and one or more additional beams carrying the random access preamble and the random access payload of the random access message. As a result, the UE may perform the two-step random access procedure with a base station according to the beam association, and coexist with a four-step random access procedure in a more reliable and efficient manner.

Abstract: The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses that support interference mitigation for remote devices. A first wireless device (e.g., a base station) may detect remote interference with its communications caused by a second wireless device (e. g., a second, remote base station) based on, for example, a measured interference over thermal noise level exceeding a threshold. The first wireless device may identify a set of time-frequency resources for remote interference reference signals and a data transmission for a user equipment (UE) that is in communication with the first wireless device. The first wireless device may transmit a remote interference signal to a second wireless device (e. g., a second base station) via the set of time-frequency resources. The first wireless device may further signal a resource allocation to the UE for the UE to use for transmitting uplink transmissions to the first wireless device.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless node may transmit configuration information indicating a first precoding matrix indicator (PMI) parameter and a second PMI parameter, wherein the first PMI parameter is associated with non-simultaneous activity of a distributed unit (DU) and a mobile termination (MT), and wherein the second PMI parameter is associated with simultaneous activity of the DU and the MT. Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to wireless communications in a system are provided. A user equipment (UE) may receive from a base station (BS), a subband precoding configuration including a first number of bits and an indication of a common size for each subband of a set of subbands. The UE may select a plurality of precoders from a precoder candidate set based on the first number and the common size. The precoder candidate set may be based on an order of a spatial direction. The UE may transmit a beam monitoring request to a base station for an updated monitoring configuration, such as a subset of a set of configured beams or an identified scan angle to be monitored by the UE.
