Abstract: The present disclosure addresses selection of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for control information multiplexed on a data channel. A spectral efficiency associated with control information may be derived as a function of a spectral efficiency associated with data. A modulation order and/or code rate may be selected that is suitable for the spectral efficiency associated with the data. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be configured to determine a first MCS for control information based on spectral efficiency associated with transmission of data, and further configured to transmit the control information with the first MCS, the control information being multiplexed with data.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a set of reference signals (RSs) that are associated with a reduced activation time. The UE may receive activation signaling identifying a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state associated with an RS, of the set of RSs, to be activated for a communication. The UE may perform the communication using the identified TCI state, wherein the identified TCI state is activated within the reduced activation time after the activation signaling is received. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for radio frequency (RF) sensing. A method that may be performed by a UE generally includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a configuration for the UE to perform RF sensing. The method generally includes transmitting an RF sensing signal based on the configuration. The method generally includes performing one or more measurements of one or more reflections of the RF sensing signal. Certain aspects of the subject matter described in this disclosure can be implemented in a method for wireless communication by a BS. The method generally includes receiving a RF sensing capabilities message from a UE. The method generally includes transmitting, to the UE, a configuration for the UE to perform RF sensing based on the RF sensing capabilities message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may establish multiple unicast connections with multiple other UEs. The first UE may then determine individual sets of transmission parameters for each of the multiple other UEs, where the individual sets of transmission parameters may enable the first UE to receive transmissions from the multiple other UEs on a same set of time and frequency resources via a spatial division multiplexing scheme. For example, each of the individual sets of transmission parameters may include a transmission schedule adjustment, a transmit power, a transmit time, an indication of the time and frequency resources, or a combination thereof. The first UE may then transmit each of the individual sets of transmission parameters to a respective UE of the multiple other UEs.

Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for enhancing sidelink scheduling information to include a priority assigned to a sidelink transmission. For example, a transmitting wireless communication device may receive sidelink scheduling information scheduling a sidelink transmission from a transmitting wireless communication device to a receiving wireless communication device. The sidelink scheduling information may further include a priority indicator associated with the sidelink transmission. The transmitting wireless communication device may then transmit the sidelink transmission to the receiving wireless communication device based on the scheduling information. The priority indicator may further facilitate hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook construction on the sidelink and uplink for the transmission of acknowledgement information of the sidelink transmission.
