    Abstract: Aspects described may include performing a beam failure detection (BFD) measurement procedure with at least one reference signal (RS) associated with at least one of a DL beam for half-duplex (HD) communication and a DL and UL beam pair for full-duplex (FD) communication; transmitting a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) and a beam failure reason message for the at least one RS associated with the at least one of the DL beam for the HD communication and the DL and UL beam pair for the FD communication to a network entity in response to performing the BFD measurement procedure; and transmitting a measurement metric associated with the beam failure reason message and the at least one of the DL beam for the HD communication or the DL and UL beam pair for the FD communication to the network entity based on a result of the BFD measurement procedure.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing user equipment (UE) capability information for one or more transmission configuration indicator (TCI) beam indication types. A method that may be performed by a UE includes sending, to the network from the UE, capability information, wherein: the capability information comprises at least one capability related to one or more TCI beam indication types, and at least one of the one or more TCI beam indication types comprises a multi-channel beam indication type, receiving, from the network, a configuration for the multi-channel beam indication type, wherein the configuration is based on the sent capability information, and communicating with the network based on the configured multi-channel beam indication type.

    Abstract: A wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive first scheduling information with first resources for periodic transmissions with a first beam based on a half-duplex mode. The wireless device may receive second scheduling information for second resources associated with a second beam that is incompatible with the first beam for full duplex communication including downlink reception and uplink transmission that overlaps in time. The wireless device may adjust communication in response to the first beam being incompatible with the second beam for the full duplex communication.

    Abstract: A UE may receive, from a base station/TRP, a configuration for a beam pair including an UL beam and a DL beam and transmit a RACH message via the UL beam while receiving DL information via the DL beam. The UE and/or the base station/TRP may be configured to operate in a FD mode. In aspects, the UE may transmit a RACH preamble based on a first mode of transmission. After a threshold time delay measured from the transmission of the RACH preamble, the UE may retransmit the RACH preamble based on a second mode of transmission. The second mode of transmission may be a same mode of transmission or a different mode of transmission from the first mode of transmission. Each mode of transmission may be based on one or more of TDM, FDM, or SDM.
