摘要: The present description is directed towards systems and methods for directing a user request for content over a network to a given content server on the basis of one or more rules. Methods and systems implemented in accordance with the present description comprise receiving a request for content form a user, the request for content including a profile of the user identifying one or more characteristics associated with the user. One or more rules are retrieved for identifying a content server to which a request for content is to be delivered, the one or more rules including at least one of business rules, network rules, and user profile rules. The one or more retrieved rules are applied to the request for content to identify a content server to which the request for content is to be delivered and the request for content is delivered to the identified content server.

摘要: Systems and methods described herein relate to generating a task offloading strategy for a vehicular edge-computing environment. One embodiment simulates a vehicular edge-computing environment in which one or more vehicles perform computational tasks whose data is partitioned into segments and performs, for each of a plurality of segments, a Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) training procedure that includes receiving state-space information regarding the one or more vehicles and one or more intermediate network nodes; inputting the state-space information to a policy network; generating, from the policy network, an action concerning a current segment; and assigning a reward to the policy network for the action in accordance with a predetermined reward function. This embodiment produces, via the DRL training procedure, a trained policy network embodying an offloading strategy for segmentation offloading of computational tasks from vehicles to one or more of an edge server and a cloud server.

摘要: A base station or content delivery server in a wireless network is configured to receive wireless network topology information from each of a plurality of wireless user devices. The wireless network topology information indicates which wireless user devices are within radio communication range of each other. The base station or content delivery server is configured to respond to a request for content from a first wireless user device by using the wireless network topology information for selecting a second wireless user device that has the content and is within radio communication range of the first wireless user device. The base station or content delivery server can be configured to forward the request to the second wireless user device, send a resource identifier to the first wireless user device that identifies the second wireless user device, and/or transmit a radio resource allocation to the first wireless user device to create a peer-to-peer link with the second wireless user device.

摘要: Techniques for load balancing encrypted traffic based on security parameter index (SPI) values of packet headers and sets of 5-tuple values of the packet headers are described herein. Additionally, techniques for including quality of service (QoS)-type information in SPI value fields of packet headers are also described herein. The QoS-type information may indicate a particular traffic class according to which the packet is to be handled. Further, techniques for pre-configuring a backend host such that encrypted traffic may be migrated to the backend host from another backend host without causing temporary service disruptions are also described herein.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for intelligently managing sessions in a mobile network. A selection engine receives a trigger to select a peer node for a subscriber session. The selection engine chooses a peer selector among one or more available peer selectors in response to the trigger and determines whether the chosen peer selector is associated with a fully qualified domain name (FQDN). In response to determining that the chosen peer selector is associated with the FQDN, the selection engine determines whether a domain name system (DNS) server is configured. In response to determining that the DNS server is configured, the selection engine requests a peer list associated with the FQDN from the DNS server and selects the peer node from the peer list.

摘要: This application discloses a decentralization processing method, which are applied to a microservice system. A first communication proxy in the microservice system receives a first microservice request sent by a first microservice application, the first communication proxy determines, based on a target control plane rule, a microservice access address corresponding to the first microservice request, and sends the first microservice request to the second communication proxy having the microservice access address, where the second communication proxy is used to forward the first microservice request to the second microservice application. The first communication proxy can send the microservice request to the corresponding second communication proxy, and a control plane does not need to route the microservice request, so that traffic for routing the microservice request by the control plane is effectively reduced, and impact of a burst of microservice requests on the control plane is effectively avoided.

摘要: A software upgrade to be deployed by a cloud extension agent is received by a remote network management platform, the cloud extension agent running locally on a network and initiating an outbound connection to the remote network management platform through a firewall of the network. A command is generated for the software upgrade, the command comprising an identification of a source of the software upgrade. The command is provided to the cloud extension agent, wherein providing the command causes the cloud extension agent to acquire the software upgrade from the identified source and deploy the software upgrade.
