摘要： Disclosed is a scroll key integrally formed with a function selecting switch that selects one of at least two functions. The scroll key comprises a circuit board having a circuit provided for a predetermined function, a vertical rotation switch mounted on the circuit board with a rotation axis thereof being substantially parallel with the circuit board, first and second tact switches mounted on the circuit board in alignment with the rotation axis of the vertical rotation switch, a rotation knob rotating between the vertical rotation switch and the first tact switch in substantially perpendicular relation to the circuit board to rotate the vertical rotation switch and press the first tact switch, and a button mounted on the circuit board to press the second tact switch. Accordingly, a small-sized scroll key can be implemented and assembling of the scroll key is improved.

The first stopper face (7b) and the second stopper face (13b) cooperate to prevent the rotary knob (11) from rotating in a direction opposite to a direction indicated by an arrow A. Consequently, there is no need for providing a stopper as an additional component.

摘要： When a control lever is slid to move a driver housed in a quadrangular case in a given direction, the movement of the driver allows the driver to push one of resilient legs of movable contacts corresponding to the direction of movement. This movement resiliently slides the corresponding movable contact along an inner surface of the sidewall of the case and brings the movable contact into contact with a corresponding fixed contact. This structure can provide a multi-directional slide switch of low profile that has a small number of members and is easily assembled.

摘要： A multi-directional key switch assembly comprises first stage switches and second stage switches of different kinds disposed alternately arrayed at 45.degree. on a common circle at angular intervals on a printed-circuit board, a truncated semi-spherical shell shaped rolling member disposed on the board in overlying relation to thee switches, slide members disposed on the undersurface of the semi-spherical shell shaped rolling member in opposition to the corresponding first stage switches, and actuating means disposed in correspondence with the second stage switches. A key top is mounted on the rolling member and has an integral operating stick extending from the undersurface thereof. The operating stick is inserted in a receiving bore formed through the rolling member from the upper surface to the undersurface thereof along the central axis thereof. Rolling the rolling member by pressing on the key top will cause the corresponding first stage switch to be turned ON, and further continued rolling of the rolling member will actuate the corresponding second switch to turn it ON.

The toothed-wheel-shaped engaging portion has a thickness of teeth t1 on the side of a shaft bar 22c that is greater than a thickness of teeth t2 on the side of a case. The engaging portion 22b is formed so as to protrude in a direction inclined with respect to a center line of the shaft bar 22c.
