The driver assistance system controls the tire pressure control system and includes a computing unit, a memory unit, and an input/output unit. In particular, the driver assistance system includes an automatic tire pressure controller that operates based on a characteristic curve and is configured for optimized control of the tire pressure control system depending on selectable control strategies and/or optimization target variables.

    摘要: A wheel end assembly for a tire inflation system includes a sealing ring disposed on an axle housing. The sealing ring includes a conduit formed therethrough in fluid communication with a conduit formed through a hub. The hub is rotatably disposed on the axle housing adjacent the sealing ring. An inner rotary seal is disposed between the sealing ring and the hub. An outer rotary seal is disposed between the sealing ring and the hub. The hub conduit is in fluid communication with the sealing ring conduit via an area between the inner rotary seal and the outer rotary seal. A bearing seal is disposed between the sealing ring and the hub. The bearing seal is disposed outboard of the outer rotary seal. The inner rotary seal, the outer rotary seal, and the bearing seal are each in sealing contact with the sealing ring.

    摘要: A dual wheel tyre inflation pressure control system including a pair of vehicle wheels having tyre interiors providing first and second fluid chambers. A first valve arrangement is installed remote from the wheels and is connectable to a pressurised fluid source. A second valve arrangement, suitably mounted on one of the wheels, is connected to the first valve arrangement by means of first and second fluid connections. The second valve arrangement is controllably operable to connect the first fluid connection to either fluid chamber. Controlled variation of fluid pressure in and between the fluid connections is provided by the first valve arrangement to control said second valve arrangement for operating the tyre pressure control system to connect the second fluid chamber to the first valve arrangement, and to connect the first and second fluid chambers.

    摘要: A hydroplaning determination device that determines occurrence of a hydroplaning phenomenon in a vehicle includes a tire mount sensor including a vibration detection unit, a signal process unit and a transmission unit, and a vehicle body system including a receiver, a condition determination unit and a hydroplaning determination unit. The vibration detection unit is attached to a rear surface of a tire provided in a vehicle and outputs a detection signal according to a magnitude of vibration of the tire. The signal process unit generates a vibration data based on the detection signal. The hydroplaning determination unit determines, based on the vibration data, whether a hydroplaning phenomenon has occurred when the condition determination unit determines that a road surface condition is a wet condition in which a water film exists between the tire and a road surface.
