摘要: There is provided a method for network management. Transmission of a request for performance of a management task on the network is initiated towards a second entity (20), which is configured to manage network slices of the network. The request comprises information identifying a first network slice (40) of the network and a first programming construct executable to cause the second entity (20) to identify one or more second network slices of the network that are supporting the first network slice (40) and/or one or more first network nodes (60) of the network supporting the first network slice (40). The request comprises a second programming construct executable to cause the second entity (20) to select the first network slice (40), one or more identified second network slices, and/or one or more identified first network nodes (60), on which to perform the management task.

摘要: Techniques described herein relate to a method for deploying workflows. The method may include receiving, at a service controller of a federated controller, a request to deploy a workflow in a device ecosystem; decomposing, by the service controller, the workflow into a plurality of workflow portions; performing, by the service controller, a search in a capabilities and constraints data construct to identify a domain in which to perform a workflow portion of the plurality of workflow portions; providing the workflow portion and workflow constraints to a platform controller in the domain; performing, by the platform controller, a subgraph similarity check to determine that a previously executed workflow portion was successfully executed on a subgraph in the domain; provisioning, by the platform controller, a set of devices in the domain based on the subgraph; and executing the workflow portion in the domain.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining, from a first source of information, a first bandwidth prediction, wherein the first bandwidth prediction is based upon historical bandwidth data that had been provided by a plurality of devices; obtaining, from a second source of information, a second bandwidth prediction, wherein the second bandwidth prediction is based upon network measurements, and wherein the network measurements are other than the historical bandwidth data that had been provided by the plurality of devices; selecting as a source of a future bandwidth prediction one of the first source of information and the second source of information, wherein the selecting is based upon a comparison of each of the first bandwidth prediction and the second bandwidth prediction to an actually obtained bandwidth of the device. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: A computer system hosting (micro)services that uses a service mesh to govern communication between the services. The services include consumer services and an event stream service, the latter directing an event stream from a producer service to the individual consumer services. The control plane of the service mesh has the role of creating and removing service instances. Based on a specified event capacity that is to be provided by the consumer services collectively, the control plane manages service provisioning by estimating the current event capacity of the system. This is done by measuring the event capacities of each consumer service instance and summing them, from which any shortfall or excess of the current event capacity in relation to the specified event capacity can be determined. Consumer service instances are then added in case of a shortfall or removed in case of an excess as needed to avoid over or under-provisioning.

摘要: A device includes a processor and a memory. The processor effectuates operations including monitoring enterprise network traffic associated with one or more user device (UE). The processor further effectuates operations including comparing the enterprise network traffic to a UE profile associated with each of the one or more UE. The processor further effectuates operations including determining whether the comparison indicates that a predetermined threshold has been exceeded. The processor further effectuates operations including in response to the indication that the predetermined threshold has been exceeded, generating an alert, wherein exceeding the predetermined threshold is indicative of a denial of service attack on an enterprise network or an attempt to remove enterprise data via the one or more UE.
