    摘要: A control assembly for use in controlling a speed of operation of an electric device, the control assembly including: a control assembly housing; a magnetic sensor; a magnetic element; an actuator that is configured for movement relative to the control assembly housing wherein responsive to said movement of the actuator relative to the control assembly housing, the magnetic sensor and magnetic element move relative to each other between at least one of a first position and a second position such that the magnetic sensor senses a first magnetic field reading when in the first position and senses a second magnetic field reading when in the second position; and, a control module operably connected to the magnetic sensor and configured for controlling the electric device to operate in at least one of a first speed and a second speed by reference to an output of the magnetic sensor indicative of the sensed first magnetic field reading and the second magnetic field reading respectively.

    摘要: An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a motor; a driver to drive the motor; a first control circuit; and a second control circuit. The first control circuit controls the driver such that the motor rotates in a set rotation direction. The second control circuit is provided separately from the first control circuit. The second control circuit detects a rotation direction of the motor and performs an abnormality handling process to stop rotation of the motor in response to a situation where the detected rotation direction is reverse to the set rotation direction.

    摘要: An arrangement for detecting a direction of rotation of a multi-phase electric motor includes a plurality of single-phase converters. Each single-phase converter of the plurality of single-phase converters supplies one phase of the multi-phase electric motor with current. The arrangement also includes two sensor units that are configured to determine actual values of the phase currents of the multi-phase electric motor and to transmit the actual values to the plurality of single-phase converters. The arrangement also includes a monitoring and control unit in each converter of the plurality of single-phase converters. The monitoring and control unit is configured and programmed to determine the direction of rotation and a speed of rotation of the multi-phase electric motor from the actual values.

    摘要: An electric fan with a self-cleaning mode to energise rotating fan blades in alternate forward and reverse directions to create a vibration in order to shake built-up dust or dirt particles from the blades in a frequency at which the rotational direction is alternated set to a known or detected resonant frequency of the blades thereby excite resonant modes and maximise the amplitude of vibrations. The self-cleaning operation may be triggered by detection of excessive/abnormal loading on the motor. The fan may be operated in a vibration detecting mode over a range of rotational speeds to locate speeds that produce resonance, or to detect a fault with the fan. Motor reversal frequencies corresponding to resonance-inducing speeds may be used in the self-cleaning mode. The vibration detecting mode may be carried out while the at least one blade is rotated in a direction opposite to its normal operational rotational direction.
