摘要： In order to manufacture a die for forming recesses in a metallic plate which are adapted to be pressure generating chambers in a liquid ejecting head, it is prepared a metallic block adapted to allow a plurality of dies arrayed in a first direction to be cut out, and having a flat end face extending in the first direction. The dies are cut out from the metallic block. A distance between a first part of each of the dies which is adapted to be working members for forming the recesses and the flat end face is made uniform.

摘要： A radially expandable prosthesis for implantation in a lumen comprises a tubular wall having an inner surface and an outer surface. The tubular wall is provided with cuts to form solid struts which have a thickness and which enables the prosthesis to expand. The solid struts have reservoirs made therethrough in the form of perforating holes for containing a therapeutic agent. The perforating holes each have an inner opening and an outer opening of substantially the same size. The prosthesis, including said perforating holes, has a smooth electrochemically polished surface.

Minimal subsequent processing (performed when desired) configures the blank insert cap into a hybrid insert cap having a desired combination of electrical and fiber optic pin terminals (in the case of pin-style insert cap) or electrical and fiber optic socket terminals (in the case of socket-style insert caps). The blank insert caps include partially formed structures that, when further processed by removal of specific material, are configured into a receptacle for receiving the desired terminal.
