    摘要: One embodiment is a unique Vernier machine comprising a rotor and a stator. The rotor comprises a back portion and a plurality of permanent magnets. The stator comprises a plurality of ferromagnetic arm structures, a plurality of ferromagnetic pole structures extending from each of the ferromagnetic arm structures in a direction toward the permanent magnets, and a plurality of conductive windings disposed about respective ones of the plurality of ferromagnetic arm structures. The ferromagnetic pole structures are structured to collect magnetic flux from the permanent magnets. The ferromagnetic pole structures of each of said ferromagnetic arm structures are spaced apart from one another according to a non-uniform pattern such that the ferromagnetic pole structures of a given ferromagnetic arm structure have substantially the same angular position relative to the permanent magnets radially opposite from the ferromagnetic pole structures of the given ferromagnetic arm structure.

    摘要: A reluctance generator includes a circular stator made by silicon steel sheets and amorphous metal, first and second exciting coils, first and second outputting coils, and a rotator disposed in the stator. The stator includes four projecting poles. Two opposite ones and the other two opposite ones of the projecting poles are respectively formed with first and second teeth at distal ends thereof. The first exciting coil, the first outputting coil, the second exciting coil and the second outputting coil are in sequence and each wound around the stator between respective two adjacent ones of the projecting poles. When the rotator rotates, the first and second teeth are alternately aligned with third teeth that surround the rotator.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for operating a reluctance motor. The apparatus comprises a stator and a plate. The stator includes a plurality of electromagnetic coils having an overlapped configuration. Applying multi-phase current to the plurality of electromagnetic coils generates a magnetic field. The plate forms a virtual pole when a portion of the plate contacts the stator in response to the magnetic field. Rotating the magnetic field about a center axis through the stator rotates the virtual pole about the center axis.

    摘要: An electric machine includes a rotor, a first and second stator, a first and second plurality of permanent magnets, a first and second winding, a third and fourth winding. The first stator and the second stator are mounted axially relative to the rotor. A first permanent magnet and a second permanent magnet of the first plurality of permanent magnets have opposite polarities. A first permanent magnet and a second permanent magnet of the second plurality of permanent magnets have opposite polarities. The first winding, the second winding, the third winding, and the fourth winding are connected in series. An absolute value of an angle offset between the first winding and the third winding and between closest poles of the first plurality of poles and the second plurality of poles is 180 electrical degrees.
