Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first wireless node may receive, from a second wireless node, a round-trip time timing advance indicator, wherein the round-trip time timing advance indicator is different from a timing advance indicator used for an uplink transmission timing advance message. In some aspects, the first wireless node may synchronize a timing configuration of the first wireless node to at least one of the second wireless node or a third wireless node based at least in part on the round-trip time timing advance indicator. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a first IAB node determining an adjustment to at least one parameter corresponding to a cell coverage of the first IAB node based at least in part on a geographic proximity of a cell relative to the first IAB node. For example, the first IAB node may determine to adjust the parameters based reference signal measurements, signal quality measurements (e.g., received from child nodes or user equipments (UEs)), etc. In another example, the first IAB node may receive an instruction from a central unit (CU) of the IAB network to adjust the at least one parameter. The first access node may transmit an indication of the adjustment to the at least one parameter. For example, the first access node may signal the adjustments to the CU, child IAB nodes, UEs and/or, other IAB nodes.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating in an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network are provided. A first wireless communication device of a multi-hop wireless network receives a first transmission timing adjustment command. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device of the multi-hop wireless network based on at least the first transmission timing adjustment command, a first communication signal including backhaul data. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a third wireless communication device of the multi-hop wireless network based on the at least the first transmission timing adjustment command, a second communication signal.

Abstract: High frequency wireless communication networks rely on directional transmit and receive beams to achieve large gains and overcome large pathlosses associated with high frequency signals. With highly directional signals, link failure may occur. Network nodes associated with the link failure, may need to identify new beam pairs and establish a new link as quickly as possible. In several aspects, beam sweep procedures are expedited, allowing for rapid link reestablishment. Disclosed techniques allow for rapid link reestablishment with and without beam correspondence.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which multiple different wireless resource configurations for a multiple-hop wireless network may be configured and selected to provide for efficient updates to resource configurations. A central entity may configure one or more other nodes of the network with a number of different wireless resource configurations for backhaul communications among the other nodes. A first node may receive the number of different wireless resource configurations, identify wireless resources associated with a first resource configuration that are allocated for backhaul communications, and communicate with a second node using the allocated resources. In the event that the first node determines that a different wireless resource configuration should be used for communications with the second node, the first node may select a second resource configuration from the number of different wireless resource configurations for further communications with the second node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for resource allocation in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network. A relay node in an IAB network may be assigned a first resource partition that is different from a second resource partition for the child and parent nodes. Based on a resource configuration (e.g., for a slot) of the second resource partition, the relay node may opportunistically utilize the second resource partition for communications. For instance, the relay node may determine a direction table based on the resource configurations of the child and parent nodes, which may be used to perform uplink or downlink communications in one or more symbols of the second resource partition. The relay node may also identify flexible symbols as free or non-free when determining the direction table.

A parent wireless node may determine that low latency communications having a latency below a threshold are to be performed with a child wireless node. The parent wireless node may modify, by at least one of the first communication link interface of the parent wireless node, or a second communication link interface of the parent wireless node that is different from the first communication link interface, or a combination thereof, a previously configured resource type for the first communication link interface based at least in part on the low latency communications. The parent wireless node may transmit, from the first communication link interface of the parent wireless node, a grant to the child wireless node indicating that the low latency communications are to be performed.

A scheduled node may transmit, by a first node in the network and to a second node in the network, an indication of a first temporal pattern of communication states for communication by the first node on a first set of resources, the first node being configured for half-duplex communications. The scheduled node may receive, from the second node, a grant of resources for performing communications on a second set of resources that are multiplexed with the first set of resources in a frequency domain, a spatial domain, or a combination thereof.
