摘要: A conveyance system for a semiconductor wafer can be used without any change before and after a support plate is adhered to the wafer. Also, the finish accuracy of the wafer and the positioning accuracy between the wafer and the support plate can be relaxed, thus improving the manufacturing efficiency. The wafer is formed on its peripheral portion with a stepped portion, which is deeper than a finished thickness obtained by partial removal of the rear surface thereof and which can be eliminated by the partial removal of the wafer rear surface. The separation portion has a length which extends radially outward from a flat surface, and which is greater than a total sum of a maximum-minimum difference between the finish allowances of the diameters of the wafer and the support plate, and a maximum value of a positioning error between the wafer and the support plate generated upon adhesion thereof.

摘要: A data access apparatus has a memory portion including plural memory banks. A data storage control portion stores the pixel data in the plural memory banks with the pixel data being divided into the plural memory banks based on information on an access pattern of plural pixels set on a predetermined screen. A data access control portion reads pixel data relative to the plural pixels specified by the access pattern at the same time from the plural memory banks at each set position in which the set position of the access pattern moves from the start position thereof toward a pixel row direction. A selector portion transmits pixel data corresponding to respective pixels constituting each of the groups of pixels based on correspondence information on input and output. Each group of pixels includes a center pixel and peripheral pixels positioned at a periphery of the center pixel.

摘要: An optical fiber axial alignment method and related method, and an optical fiber fusion splicing method and related device are disclosed wherein a butt alignment section 9 has a butt alignment groove portion 7 to allow at least one pair of optical fibers 3 to be positioned such that distal ends of optical fibers 3 mutually but one another. Optical fiber guide sections 21 on both sides of the butt alignment section 9 have guide grooves 23, whose centers are positioned on substantially straight lines interconnecting centers of at least one pair of opposing butt alignment groove portions formed on the butt alignment section 9, and are able to elevate above the butt alignment section 9. When fusion splicing at least one pair of the optical fibers 3, the optical fiber guide sections 21 are elevated above the butt alignment groove portions 7 to allow the optical guides 3 to be received in the guide grooves 23 whereupon the optical guide sections 21 are lowered to cause the distal ends of the optical fibers 3 to be automatically received in the butt alignment groove portions 7.

摘要: An electroluminescent display device is formed by superposing a support member, a first electrode layer, a light-emitting layer, a second electrode layer which transmits light and a color conversion filter layer in this order. The light-emitting layer is formed by dispersing electroluminescent light-emitting particles which emit a predetermined color of light in a dielectric binder. The color conversion filter layer includes color conversion portions and/or transparent portions which transmit light. The first electrode layer and the second electrode layer form an X-Y matrix electrode. Further, the EL light-emitting layer is uniformly formed over the entire area of the electroluminescent display device.

摘要: A mixed melt, which contains urea and/or a urea derivative and contains a sulfur source and a zinc source, is prepared. A temperature of the mixed melt is raised, and a precipitate of zinc sulfide is thereby formed. The temperature of the mixed melt is raised even further, and a solid material containing the zinc sulfide is thereby formed. The solid material is fired, and organic constituents contained in the solid material are thus removed. Zinc sulfide particles having uniform particle size and free from inclusion of impurities are thus produced without any precipitant being added.

摘要: A reproduction system is capable of networking a plurality of reproduction equipments via a communications network. Each equipment is capable of reproducing a data signal and comprises a manipulation unit for receiving an input operation, a reproduction unit for reproducing a program by using a recording medium, an operation unit for processing various information and for sorting out data recorded on the recording medium, and a network interface unit which allows for referring to program data stored in a recording medium of a reproduction unit of another reproduction equipment via communication. In particular, when a reproduction equipment receives an inquiry for a rank of a particular program after performing a sorting operation on program data stored therein from another reproduction equipment networked therewith, the former reproduction equipment responds thereto by notifying the latter reproduction equipment of the program's rank.

摘要: The present invention relates to an image signal conversion apparatus or the like preferably applied, for example, when a SD signal (525i) is converted into a HD signal (525p or the like). In the image signal conversion section (110), the SD signal is converted into the HD signal, and the image is displayed on the display section (111). A class code CL indicating a class of a subject pixel of the HD signal is obtained by detecting a space class and a motion class from tap pixel data corresponding to the subject pixel of HD signal which is selectively fetched from a SD signal. The controller (101) loads coefficient data of each class according to the selected resolution into the coefficient memory (134) from the information memory bank (135) when the user selects the resolution. In the calculation circuit (127), pixel data of the subject pixel of the HD signal is calculated using an estimating equation based on the tap data xi corresponding to the subject pixel of the HD signal selectively fetched from the SD signal in the tap selection circuit (121) and the coefficient data wi read in class code CL from the coefficient memory (134).
