A method for writing data to a storage medium includes: writing data concurrently on n storage units in a first write cycle, counting a quantity k of storage units in which writing succeeds among the n storage units in the first write cycle; and writing, in a second write cycle, subsequent data of the data written to the n storage units to m storage units, in addition to perform write operations on n−k storage units in which writing is not successful, thereby improving efficiency in writing data to the storage medium.

A method for recommending a video from a video library, and the method includes obtaining a user session composed of unrestricted content; analyzing semantics of the user session; according to the semantics of the user session, selecting subtitles that match the semantics of the user session from subtitles included in the video library, where the subtitles are used to answer the user session; from the video library, obtaining a video clip corresponding to the subtitles used to answer the user session; and presenting the video clip or sending the video clip so that a receiver can present the video clip. The embodiments of the present invention fulfill the objective of recommending a video to a user in a smart and personalized manner.

The disclosure relates to technology for haptic stimulation. A haptic interface device comprises an array comprising haptic stimulation elements configured to generate a stimulation pattern. The haptic interface device comprises a controller configured to continually propagate the stimulation pattern on a user's skin, including repeatedly eliminate a portion of a first end of the stimulation pattern and replace the eliminated portion with a new portion at a second end of the stimulation pattern.

The method includes: when any parameter collection group meets an intra-group combination condition, combining model parameters of M nodes in the parameter collection group to obtain a first model parameter of the parameter collection group, where a smallest quantity s of combination nodes in the parameter collection group≤M≤a total quantity of nodes included in the parameter collection group; and sending the first model parameter of the parameter collection group to N nodes in a parameter delivery group corresponding to the parameter collection group, where 1≤N≤a total quantity of nodes included in the parameter delivery group corresponding to the parameter collection group.

A file management method, a distributed storage system, and a management node are disclosed. In the distributed storage system, after receiving a file creation request sent by a host for requesting to create a file in a distributed storage system, a management node allocates, to the file, first virtual space from global virtual address space of the distributed storage system, where local virtual address space of each storage node in the distributed storage system is corresponding to a part of the global virtual address space. Then, the management node records metadata of the file, where the metadata of the file includes information about the first virtual space, and the information about the first virtual space is used to point to local virtual address space of a storage node that is used to store the file. Further, the management node sends, the information about the first virtual space to the host.
Abstract:
A data access method, a routing apparatus, and a storage system are provided. The method is applied to a storage system including a first storage device, a second storage device, and a routing apparatus. A logical unit in each storage device includes at least one first-type logical block and at least one second-type logical block. According to the method, when sending access requests to the storage devices in the storage system according to a preset rule, the routing apparatus sends access requests corresponding to same target logical blocks to one of the storage devices according to a preset rule. This reduces network overheads between the storage system and the application server, and improves efficiency of processing the access requests by the storage system.

A file data access method and a computer system, where the method includes accessing a page global directory (PGD) of the process using PGD space when accessing first file data by a process, determining, based on access to the PGD and according to a first virtual address of the first file data in file system space, a first PGD entry in the PGD, linking a file page table of the process to the first PGD entry, where the file page table points to a physical address of the file data such that a processor retrieves a first physical address of the first file data in a memory according to the first virtual address using the PGD and the file page table, and accessing the first file data according to the first physical address.

An access request processing method and apparatus, and a computer system is disclosed. The computer system includes a processor and a non-volatile memory (NVM). When receiving a write request, the processor determines an object cache page according to the write request. After determining that the NVM stores a log chain of the object cache page, the processor inserts, into the log chain of the object cache page, a second data node recording information about a second log data chunk. The log chain already includes a first data node recording information about the first log data chunk. The second log data chunk is at least partial to-be-written data of the write request. Then, the processor sets, in the first data node, data that is in the first log data chunk and that overlaps the second log data chunk to invalid data.

A method includes: establishing, by a terminal, a first communication connection to a first access point by using a first workstation; determining, by the terminal, that signal quality of the first access point meets a handover condition, detecting, by the terminal, a second access point, and establishing, by the terminal, a second communication connection to the second access point by using a second workstation; and determining, by the terminal, that signal quality of the second access point is better than the signal quality of the first access point, and breaking, by the terminal, the first communication connection.
