Abstract: A method includes: establishing, by a terminal, a first communication connection to a first access point by using a first workstation; determining, by the terminal, that signal quality of the first access point meets a handover condition, detecting, by the terminal, a second access point, and establishing, by the terminal, a second communication connection to the second access point by using a second workstation; and determining, by the terminal, that signal quality of the second access point is better than the signal quality of the first access point, and breaking, by the terminal, the first communication connection.
