Abstract: This application provides an uplink power control method and apparatus. A network side device sends a plurality of pieces of configuration information of an RACH to UE, and indicates, by using a scheduling message of the RACH, identifier information of the configuration information of the RACH used by the UE. The UE calculates a transmit power of the RACH based on the configuration information that is of the RACH and that is corresponding to the identifier information, and sends a random access preamble to the network side device based on the transmit power of the RACH.

Abstract: A data sending method, a related device, and a system are described. The method includes sending, by a network device, resource location information of a first reference signal and a physical channel to a terminal, where a first time-frequency resource on which the first reference signal is mapped overlaps a second time-frequency resource corresponding to the physical channel. An overlapping resource is not used to transmit the physical channel, and a third time-frequency resource in the second time-frequency resource other than the overlapping resource is used to transmit the physical channel. Alternatively, an overlapping resource is used to send a second reference signal; or an overlapping region is used to send a second reference signal, where the terminal skips sending the first reference signal, and the second reference signal is orthogonal to the first reference signal.

Abstract: This application discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting a reference signal, and a method and an apparatus for receiving a reference signal. The transmission method includes: receiving, by a second network device, first group information of reference signal port from a first network device, where the first group information includes information about N groups of reference signal port, N is a positive integer, and N≥1; determining a kth group of reference signal antenna port in the N groups of reference signal port, where k is a positive integer, and N≥k≥1; and transmitting a reference signal on the kth group of reference signal antenna port. Quick switching between the reference signal antenna port of the second network device is implemented, and adaptive uplink data transmission can be performed. Therefore, the transmitted reference signal can traverse an entire to-be-measured bandwidth as quickly as possible, and accuracy of channel measurement and efficiency of uplink data transmission are improved.

In the method, a terminal device receive a reference signal from a base station and determines a precoding matrix W in a precoding matrix set corresponding to a rank indication. W satisfies W=W1×W2×W3, where W1, W2 and W3 are matrices and respectively corresponding to a first, second and third precoding matrix indicator. None of W1, W2, and W3 is an identity matrix, and the 2M columns in W1 comprise every column in W1×W2. The terminal device transmits the rank indication, the first precoding matrix indicator, the second precoding matrix indicator, and the third precoding matrix indicator to the base station.
