    Abstract: A transmitting device for supporting Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) includes scrambling and encoding, in which the order of scrambling and encoding is changed compared to the conventional transmitter. Likewise, a receiving device for supporting HARQ includes descrambling and decoding, in which the order of descrambling and decoding is changed compared to the conventional receiver. In particular, the transmitting device is configured to encode at least one data unit using Forward Error Correction (FEC) coding, scramble the encoded data unit based on a scrambling seed, provide an indication of the scrambling seed that is separate from the scrambled and encoded data unit, and transmit the indication of the scrambling seed and then the scrambled and encoded data unit to the receiving device.

    Abstract: The present disclosure suggests to expand and improve the method of utilizing channel resources in the 802.11be standard by allowing the use of multiple and non-contiguous portions of a channel. Supporting multiple resource units (MRUs) and non-contiguous resource units (RUs) improves the channel utilization by making it more efficient due to enhancing the capability of leveraging the channel selectivity. To this end, a wireless network device for resource allocation is provided and configured to define a non-contiguous MRU in the bandwidth of the channel. The channel includes a plurality of RUs, and the non-contiguous MRU is defined based on non-punctured RUs after puncturing one or more of the RUs of the channel, and/or is defined by aggregating two or more non-adjacent RUs of the channel.

    Abstract: A communication transmitter retransmits a Medium Access Control (MAC) Protocol Data unit (MPDU) to a communication receiver over a communication channel using a Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) retransmission scheme. The MPDU includes a plurality of information bits. The communication transmitter includes a processor configured to determine the MPDU to be retransmitted based on a Block ACK frame received from the communication receiver, the Block ACK frame indicating previously correctly decoded MPDUs at the communication receiver, and to generate a bit sequence to be transmitted to the communication receiver, wherein the bit sequence comprises the plurality of information bits. The communication transmitter further comprises a communication interface configured to transmit the bit sequence to the communication receiver for retransmitting the MPDU to the communication receiver.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) transmission method and a related apparatus. The method includes: generating a PPDU, where the PPDU includes a universal signal field (U-SIG), and the U-SIG includes a subfield indicating that the PPDU is a null data packet (NDP); and sending the PPDU. In this way, a beamformee (Bfee) that receives the NDP can identify the NDP earlier. This helps improve efficiency of reading the NDP by the Bfee. The PPDU is an NDP used for a standard after 802.11ax. In a scenario in which wireless communication is performed by using the standard (for example, 802.11be) after 802.11ax, the Bfee can perform channel estimation based on the NDP.

    Abstract: This application provides a resource unit combination indication method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: determining a physical layer protocol data unit PPDU, where the PPDU includes a signal field, the signal field includes a resource unit allocation subfield and a combination indication corresponding to the resource unit allocation subfield, the resource unit allocation subfield indicates a plurality of resource units, and the combination indication indicates combination information of the plurality of resource units; and sending the PPDU. The method provided in this application can support one or more users in transmitting data by using a plurality of contiguous or discontiguous RUs, and indicate a combination status of the plurality of RUs to the user.
