    摘要: An improved filtering system for loudspeaker equalization is comprised of two filtering sections, a single pole filtering section having single pole filters for shaping the frequency response of the audio signal over the operative bandwidth of the equalized loudspeaker system, and a parametric filtering section that provides for localized parametric equalization for compensating for room or other environmental resonances. The filtering system of the invention can be used to create a wide variety of useful filter shapes, while minimizing phase distortion that can harm the transient response of phase-aligned loudspeakers of a loudspeaker system.

    摘要: A product-on-demand delivery system applies an agricultural product, such as seed, to a field. The system includes a frame that mounts a main hopper, a splitter fitting, a primary product hose, a secondary product hose, a primary application unit and a secondary application unit. The main hopper has an air nozzle wherein an air stream through the air nozzle entrains product within the air stream and delivers the air/product to the primary outlet hose. The splitter fitting has a splitter inlet flow-connected to the primary product hose and two splitter outlets flow-connected to the application units. The secondary application unit is coupled to the primary product supply hose by the secondary product hose connected at an outlet branch. The outlet branch is connected at an angle such that a product flow velocity vector in the primary product supply hose at the outlet branch is at an obtuse angle to a flow velocity vector of product flowing through the outlet branch. The outlet branch is oriented for a vertical upward flow of air and product.

    摘要: A web hosted system and user interface in a client-server architecture permits audio designers to perform acoustic prediction calculations from a thin client computer. A client computer or other Internet connect device having a display screen is used by an audio professional to access via the Internet a host computer which performs acoustic prediction calculations and returns results of the calculations to the client. The results of the calculations are returned in the form of data visualizations, such as an area view showing visualizations of sound pressure levels within a defined space, an impulse view showing the time domain response at a defined location, and/or a frequency domain view showing the frequency response at a defined location. Calculations are performed based on user-defined inputs, such as speaker type and location, sent to the host computer from the client computer and based on retrieval of loudspeaker data from one or more databases accessible by the host computer.

    摘要: An improved bait for use in attracting crustaceans in traps and pots is disclosed which is particularly long-lasting when used in such traps and pots in any of a wide variety of underwater environments, together with a preferred method for making the crustacean bait. The improved crustacean bait is made of hides such as cowhides which are processed to remove the hair therefrom, and then is cured and cut into pieces of an appropriate size for use as crustacean bait in traps or pots. The pieces of improved crustacean bait may be packaged in sealed bulk packages which do not require refrigeration. The improved crustacean bait is very long-lasting when placed into a trap or pot in the ocean, and will neither decompose over an extended period of time nor degrade in its attractiveness to lure crustaceans over an extended period of time.

    摘要: A product on demand delivery system directs product from a main hopper to an application unit. An air pump directs pressurized air to a plurality of air supply hoses. The air supply hoses are coupled to air inlets located on the nozzle assembly of the main hopper. Opposite the air inlets are corresponding product outlets for receiving the air streams and product entrained in the air stream. The product outlets are coupled to product supply hoses that are in turn coupled to auxiliary hoppers located on the application units. The air inlet is downwardly angled relative to the bottom and the product outlet is upwardly angled relative to the bottom. Peaked baffles are located above corresponding air inlet and outlets so that product puddles form beneath the baffles. Gaps are formed between adjacent baffles so that product from the main hopper can flow into the product puddles.

    摘要: A seeding machine comprises a main frame segment and left and right wing frame segments. In its working configuration the wing frame segments extend transversely. In its transport configuration the wing frame segments are folded forwardly. The wing frame segments are provided with a rear rank of planting units that are mounted to the wing frame segments by pivot arms that extend downwardly and rearwardly. The pivot arms are pivotally mounted to the wing frame segments by a rock shaft. The rock shaft is provided with an actuator bell crank that is coupled to a linear actuator for rotating the rock shaft relative to the wing frame segments. The pivot arms have a working position, wherein the planting units are in their working position, and a transport position, wherein the planting units have been pivoted on their noses into their substantially vertical transport position to reduce the transverse transport width of the seeding machine.

    摘要: A seeding machine comprises a main frame segment and two wing frame segments. The wing frame segments are provided with a rear rank of planting units that are mounted to the wing frame segments by pivot arms that extend downwardly and rearwardly from the wing frame segments. The pivot arms are pivotally mounted to the wing frame segments by a rock shaft having an actuator bell crank. The bell crank is coupled to a linear actuator for rotating the rock shaft relative to the wing frame segments. The pivot arms have a working position, wherein the planting units are in contact with the ground, an intermediate holding position, wherein the planting units are raised out of the ground, and a transport position, wherein the planting units have been pivoted on their noses into their substantially vertical transport position. To maintain the rear rank of planting units in the intermediate holding position, a U-shaped stop is placed over the linear actuator so that the linear actuator cannot retract.

The pivot arms move the planting units between a horizontal working configuration and a vertical transport configuration. An operator walkway is located above the planting units.
