摘要: According to some embodiments, a method in a wireless device comprises obtaining a set of information bits for wireless transmission and dividing the set of information bits into one or more subsets of information bits. For each subset, generating extra cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits using a CRC polynomial capable of generating N CRC bits. The extra CRC bits for each subset comprise less than N CRC bits. The method further comprises: generating a final set of N or less CRC bits for the set of information bits using the CRC polynomial; generating a set of coded bits by encoding the set of information bits for wireless transmission, together with the extra CRC bits and the final set of CRC bits, using a polar encoder; and transmitting the set of coded bits using a wireless transmitter.

摘要: A network node (200), a wireless device (202) and methods therein, for communicating or obtaining system information. The network node (200) transmits (2:1) a System Information Block Type1, SIB1, message that includes at least one other SIB than SIB1 as an extension. The wireless device (202) reads (2:2) the at least one other SIB in the SIB1 if the wireless device (202) is capable of reading the extension in the SIB1 message. The network node (200) may further transmit (2:1) the at least one other SIB in a subsequent separate System Information message. The wireless device (202) is then able to read (2:4) the at least one other SIB in the subsequently received System Information message if the wireless device (202) is not capable of reading the extension in the SIB1 message. Thereby, if the wireless device is capable of reading the extension in the SIB1 message it will acquire the system information earlier than if the other SIBs are only transmitted in less frequent System Information messages. If the wireless device is not capable of reading the extension in the SIB1 message, it can still acquire the other SIB(s) from the subsequent System Information message.

摘要: According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a network node comprises indicating in a control message at least a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) and a scaling factor for a shared downlink channel. The scaling factor indicates a value less than 1. The method further comprises sending the control message to a User Equipment (UE), the control message enabling determination of a Transport Block Size (TBS) for the shared downlink channel.
According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving a control message. The control message indicates at least a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) and a scaling factor for a shared downlink channel. The scaling factor indicates a value less than 1. The method further comprises determining a transport block size (TBS) based on the MCS and the scaling factor indicated in the control message.

摘要: A configuration controller (60) is provided to make changes to configuration of a communications network (10) having VNFs used in providing services to UEs. If the change could affect a service using a first VNF (30), if made while that VNF is in use, a substitute VNF (32) is instantiated corresponding to that first VNF. The first UE is transferred to use the substitute VNF instead of the first VNF. The proposed change to the configuration is made with respect to either one of these VNFs, while the service to the first UE is maintained using the other one of these VNFs. If needed all VNFs and a service area can be substituted. Thus, such configuration changes no longer need to await a quiet period when few or no UEs are attached, and enable the configuration changes to be made more rapidly, responsive to changing circumstances.
