摘要: Systems and methods for adjusting power and frequency based on three or more states are described. One of the methods includes receiving a pulsed signal having multiple states. The pulsed signal is received by multiple radio frequency (RF) generators. When the pulsed signal having a first state is received, an RF signal having a pre-set power level is generated by a first RF generator and an RF signal having a pre-set power level is generated by a second RF generator. Moreover, when the pulsed signal having a second state is received, RF signals having pre-set power levels are generated by the first and second RF generators. Furthermore, when the pulsed signal having a third state is received, RF signals having pre-set power levels are generated by the first and second RF generators.

The RF signal includes a carrier frequency signal and a modulated sense request signal. The coded sense response signal is representative of a sensed environmental condition by the passive wireless sensor. 摘要: Devices and methods for auto-tuning a tunable circuit based on a frequency of operation of the tunable circuit using a clocked frequency detector circuit are described. The clocked frequency detector uses a readily available clock signal to drive a counter circuit to provide an indication of the frequency of operation of the tunable circuit. The tunable circuit, including the clocked frequency detector, can be integrated within a same chip that is autonomously configurable based on the frequency of operation and the readily available clock.

The automatic frequency controllers for correcting a frequency offset between a base station and a terminal includes at least one processor communicatively coupled to a memory and configured to execute computer-readable instructions stored in the memory to obtain a phase estimate from a reference signal received from the base station; classify a downlink channel as a High Speed Train (HST) channel or a non-HST channel based on the phase estimate; adjust a loop gain according to the classified downlink channel; calculate a phase error based on the phase estimate and the loop gain; correct the frequency offset using the phase error; and communicate with the base station after correcting the frequency offset.

摘要: A method and apparatus for use in a digitally tuning a capacitor in an integrated circuit device is described. A Digitally Tuned Capacitor DTC is described which facilitates digitally controlling capacitance applied between a first and second terminal. In some embodiments, the first terminal comprises an RF+ terminal and the second terminal comprises an RF− terminal. In accordance with some embodiments, the DTCs comprise a plurality of sub-circuits ordered in significance from least significant bit (LSB) to most significant bit (MSB) sub-circuits, wherein the plurality of significant bit sub-circuits are coupled together in parallel, and wherein each sub-circuit has a first node coupled to the first RF terminal, and a second node coupled to the second RF terminal. The DTCs further include an input means for receiving a digital control word, wherein the digital control word comprises bits that are similarly ordered in significance from an LSB to an MSB.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and system for lessening impact of connected mode mobility measurement is disclosed. A user equipment (UE) may reduce network management complexity by autonomously collecting signal quality measurements for neighboring cells. By autonomously tuning at opportune times for the UE, signal quality measurements may be obtained and reported to a serving cell. In another implementation, the UE examines the broadcast system information of both the serving base station against that of the neighboring base stations. Based on the included bandwidth information, the UE selects appropriate narrowband radio frequency subcarriers to perform signal quality measurement.
