    Abstract: A method for performing an operation for a first terminal in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment, comprises the steps of: transmitting a sidelink signal to a second terminal by using a sidelink resource; receiving a reception response to the sidelink signal from the second terminal; performing a radio link failure (RLF) procedure on the basis of the reception response; and transmitting, to a base station, a RLF instruction for indicating that the RLF procedure has been performed on the basis of the allocation of the sidelink resource by the base station, and not transmitting the RLF instruction to the base station on the basis of the selection of the sidelink resource by the first terminal.

    Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory, where to configure the UE for communication of data in a New Radio-Unlicensed (NR-U) spectrum, the processing circuitry is to decode RRC signaling from a base station. The RRC signaling includes configuration information to configure a listen-before-talk (LBT) timer and a scheduling request (SR) prohibit timer. An LBT procedure is performed while the LBT timer is activated. An SR is encoded for transmission to the base station, based on detecting an unoccupied transmission resource within the NR-U spectrum during the LBT procedure. The SR transmission activates the SR prohibit timer. An uplink grant from the base station is decoded in response to the SR, the uplink grant received while the SR prohibit timer is activated. A buffer status report (BSR) is encoded for transmission to the base station based on the uplink grant.

    Abstract: In implementations of the present disclosure, a retry mechanism for access point multi-link device is provided. An access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) detects a trigger condition for a retry on a first link. After detecting the trigger condition, the AP MLD further selects a second link from a plurality of links. The AP MLD then selects a retry mode from a plurality of retry modes for the second link, and transmits a retry packet on the second link using the selected retry mode. Implementations of the present disclosure can fully utilize the MLD properties to help speed up the transmissions of the retry frames, and can reduce the channel occupation and increase the channel utilization of the retry frames.

The system and method can include at least: receiving a release message confirming release of the UE from a base station, the release message including Long Term Evolution radio access technology (RAT) frequencies and New Radio (NR) RAT frequencies; measuring during an IDLE state, the LTE RAT frequencies and the NR RAT frequencies; transmitting a resume request message to the base station, the resume request message including an indication of a measurement report available from the UE, the measurement report including frequency measurements for the LTE RAT frequencies and the NR RAT frequencies; and after a security setup with the base station, transmitting a resume complete message to the base station, the resume complete message including the measurement report with the LTE RAT frequency measurements and NR RAT frequency measurements.
