Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate. According to various embodiments, a method performed by a serving base station in a wireless communication system may comprise: receiving information about an aggregated slot from an aggregated slot managing device; aggregating, on the basis of the information about the aggregated slot, traffic to be transmitted during a specific interval into the aggregated slot and scheduling same; determining adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) parameters separately for an aggregated slot and a non-aggregated slot; and transmitting the traffic for the aggregated slot using the determined AMC parameters.

Abstract: For example, a STA may determine a pre-FEC padding factor value for a PPDU, the pre-FEC padding factor value in a range between 1 and 2Na, wherein Na is an integer greater than 2; set Na bits in a Signal (SIG) field of the PPDU to indicate the pre-FEC padding factor value; and encode a data field of the PPDU according to a FEC coding based on the pre-FEC padding factor value. For example, a STA may encode a data field of a PPDU according to a FEC coding based on a pre-FEC padding factor value and based on a condition that no post-FEC padding is to be applied for the PPDU; and set an LDPC extra symbol subfield in a SIG field of the PPDU to indicate whether or not an LDPC extra symbol is present based on encoding of the data field of the PPDU.

Abstract: An optical communication method and system with high spectral efficiency and low power consumption based on joint channel coding modulation relates to the technical field of high-speed fiber communication. It is beneficial to improving the spectral efficiency and capacity of a coherent optical communication system and optimizing the system latency and power consumption.

Abstract: An example according to the present specification relates to a technique for configuring a preamble in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. A transmitting STA may generate and transmit an EHT PPDU. The EHT PPDU may comprise an L-SIG field, an RL-SIG field, a first control field, and a second control field. A result of “modulo 3 operation” for a length field value of the L-SIG field may be set to “0.” The RL-SIG field may be configured to be the same as the L-SIG field. The first control field may comprise 3-bit information on the version of a PPDU, 6-bit information on a BSS color, and 7-bit information on TXOP.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a discrete fourier transform (DFT) DFT-S-OFDM signal including frequency domain reference symbols is disclosed. The method comprises: determining to null a plurality of data symbols prior to DFT-spreading; performing DFT-spreading including the determined null data symbols; puncturing an interleaved output of the DFT-spreading; inserting reference symbols in a frequency domain of the punctured and interleaved DFT-S-OFDM signal; and transmitting the DFT-S-OFDM signal with inserted reference symbols to a receiver. The transmitted DFT-S-OFDM signal enables the receiver to apply zeros corresponding to the reference symbols to an interleaved input of DFT-despreading, and cancel interference due to the puncturing by using all outputs of the DFT-despreading.
